Fleur Just Added New Dates For Their Sold-Out Sake And Skewer Dinner So Get Booking

Sitting pretty inside The Royal in Perth, fleur is as beautiful and as fancy as she sounds. With plush moody interiors, an exceptional drinks list and mind-blowing gourmet eats, there's plenty to get excited for any day of the week. 

But it’s her latest special dinner that’s caught our eye (and stomach). Introducing Sake & Skewers, a next-level dive into the two pillars of Japanese Izakaya. Originally planned as a once-off event, the first dinner sold out so quickly they decided to add a couple more dates. Full warning: these are selling fast too so you'll have to act quick to snap up final spots.

In true fleur style, it’s no back alley meat-on-a-stick style feast. You’ll be treated to the finest delicacies on skewers paired perfectly with a selection of new world, natural Japanese sakes—all bound to leave you in awe after every mouthful. We’re talking koji cured salmon with koji emulsion, kangaroo and pork tsukune with kangaroo tare, and duck heart umeboshi teriyaki—just to name a few of the tasty eats, which you'll get to wash down with a variety of different sakes, from sparkling to rosé.

Oh and don’t worry if you’re not familiar with half the menu, getting to try something new is all part of the fun. With international travel still out of the question, this is the gourmet tasting trip to Japan you’ve been missing.
