Sephora opening first WA store

Great news for Perth beauty addicts. Global beauty giant, Sephora, revealed earlier this year that they’ll finally be bringing their popular cosmetic goods West—with their first WA store set to open in Karrinyup Shopping Centre on Thursday 7 October.

Yep, no longer will you have to duck out to Sephora while away on interstate trips (not that they’ve been happening much lately) or order online without the joy of testing all the things in store. You’ll soon be able to shop their cult range of beauty brands right here in Perth and we cannot wait.

With Sephora stocking so many of the beauty brands you know and love—think Fenty, Huda Beauty, Becca Cosmetics, Marc Jacobs—and of course their own affordable in store range as well, we suggest you start stashing some cash aside now.

If you really can't wait, though, we'll let you in on a secret—the Sephora Sundae Van will be popping up at Scarborough Beach this weekend with plenty of beauty samples, glossy lip touch ups and ice cream. They'll be out front of the Wild Fig Cafe between 10am and 3pm Saturday and Sunday.

Sephora will join the centre’s growing beauty and fashion offering—including major retailers like Mecca, Uniqlo, H&M and Zara—as part of the centre’s fashion loop.

It’s all part of the $800 million revamp of Karrinyup Shopping Centre that started in November 2018, which once complete will see the centre almost double in size with about 290 specialty stores, a 10-screen Hoyts cinema, restaurant precinct, and a whopping 4,660 more parking bays.

There’s no doubt the opening has been a long time coming for local beauty fiends, but you can start the countdown and get saving, because it’s not long now!

In the meantime, scope out this game-changing $25 TikTok beauty buy that is promising sky high lashes.
