Quench Your Festival Thirst, This Epic Snack Weekender Lands At Optus Stadium Next Month

By – who is always dreaming of her next meal and reckons a good martini solves most problems

Missing your summer festivals? Yeah, we feel ya. Thankfully Perth’s fave party people, Bar Pop, are bringing us a special Snack Weekender next month to quench your thirst.

Taking place within the lush surrounds of Stadium Park at Optus Stadium, the two-day pop-up event will see two absolute iconic Aussie acts takeover the Snack Boombox stage on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 February.

Kick off your Friday with Tame Impala’s Sound System. It’s Kevin Parker’s first live take on his recent electronic performances seen across online streams throughout 2020—expect plenty of reworked and reimagined Tame hits, amped up for maximum dancefloor vibes. The Saturday night show doesn’t hold back either, with Triple J faves Lime Cordiale set to bring their infectious festival brand of indie-rock over for the Perth crowds. The hardest part will be choosing which night to go. But then again, you could just do both.

As always, the Snack event space will also be filled with carnival rides, attractions, food vendors, and chill-out spaces to top off your festival experience in the best way possible. Tickets are on sale now so we suggest you start organising your squad before they all disappear.
