Devour Free Bite-Sized Fringe Shows Every Week At Raine Square

By Claire Logan

SNACKS free Fringe performance at Raine Square

With so many great Fringe shows on offer, it can be a bit overwhelming trying to narrow down what to see. Circus, cabaret, comedy? The options are pretty endless. That’s why we’re pretty stoked to see the legends at Raine Square in Perth City coming to the rescue with SNACKS—a series of free variety shows running all throughout the 2021 Fringe World festival.

Kicking off this Friday 15 January, SNACKS invites you to head downstairs to the Raine Square dining hall between 12.30pm and 1.30pm, Wednesday to Sunday, and whet your appetite with bite-sized performances from tremendous Fringe magicians, comedians, singers and dancers while tucking into some of the top eats on offer.

If you can’t make it down for lunch, don’t worry—they’re also presenting more pint-sized acts every Friday night between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

They’ve got a scrumptious selection of acts to devour each and every show, with Fringe favourites like the marvelous magician Pierre Ulric and the Queen of samba herself, Sandrinha, just some of the top artists on board.

Details of all the acts involved will be available on their website, so you can scope out exactly which SNACKS you’d like to enjoy ahead of time. But honestly, just drop by and see what you find—these shows are designed to surprise and delight no matter what you’re into.
