Put These Two Streets At The Top Of Your Trick-Or-Treating Hit List

If you want to give the kids a halloween they won’t forget, there’s two streets in Perth that put on a trick-or-treating experience unlike anywhere else.  Expect fully decked out houses, thousands of kids in costume, pillowcases full of candy, and an incredibly spooky atmosphere.

Chrysostom Street, North Beach

This local gem is kept on the DL for a reason. Over a thousand kids lined the streets in costume last year, and the first round of candy usually runs out before 4.30pm. It’s common etiquette to bring extra candy with you to help out the residents, because the demand is that high! The decorations here are next level, and superheroes even appear on the rooftops to make some extra magic for the little ghouls. If you’re planning on making a stop by, just make sure to respect the local beaches by taking all your wrappers home!

Buxton Street, Mount Hawthorn

Last year, three thousand people showed up to knock on the doors of these insanely extra Halloween houses. All the kids dress up, and everyone in the street gets in the spooky spirit. The candy is just as over the top as the decor, with some full-sized bars and generous helpings of the little treats. Get there early before foot traffic gets extra scary!
