The first of its kind in Australia, Aloft Perth has popped up in Rivervale, making staycations all the more appealing. With sweeping views of the city, Perth Hills and the Swan River, Aloft is a vision of W Hotels, so you can expect uber-stylish rooms, all the modern luxuries and vibrant open spaces.
From the local artwork featured throughout the hotel (by Anya Brock, David Spencer and Elle Campbell, no less) and the cheerful neighbourhood cafe, Springs Kitchen, to the 24 hour pantry, Re:Fuel, you’ll never want to leave. There’s even a Kimmy K chair in the lobby reserved exclusively for selfie opportunities. What more could you want?
With room types ranging from the Aloft King to a Savvy Suite complete with lounge and dining area—there’s something to suit all occasions. Our hot tip? Ask for a room on the higher floors with views of the river. The beds are extremely comfy and each room is appointed with only the most luxurious furnishings, black out blinds and really big flat screen televisions, just in case you get bored of the view (which you won’t).
If you’re in the mood to party, head on down to the W XYZ bar for impeccable cocktails (espresso martini, anyone?), bar snacks and live music every Friday night.
When the hunger pangs set in you can make a beeline for Re:fuel to get your fill of healthy and indulgent snacks to satisfy any craving, before working it all off over a game of pool, foosball or ping pong in the Re:mix Lounge. And don’t forget to pack your bathers, because the Splash pool has your name all over it.
When breakfast, lunch or dinner rolls around, Springs Kitchen has you covered. For brekky we’re all about the French toast with dulce de leche mascarpone, fresh strawberries and candied hazelnuts. Come lunch, you can’t go wrong with their sumac salmon served with spicy cauliflower, chickpeas and labneh (and maybe a dacquoise sandwich for good measure). And dinner is all about share foods—think chicken liver parfait, manchego croquettes and arancini. They’ve also got a delicious selection of mains that you can keep all to yourself like gnocchi with mushrooms, shiraz vinegar and goats feta, prawn linguini and braised lamb shoulder.
And for all the fitness fanatics out there who can’t go a day without getting their heart racing (who are you?), you can scope out Aloft’s 24/7 gym, Re:charge. Equipped with bikes, treadmills, elliptical machines and weights machines—it’s got everything you need to keep you in tip top shape (and to work off that French toast you enjoyed for brekky).
Plus, if you happen to be looking for the perfect wedding venue, there’s a rooftop with some seriously stunning views of the Swan River.
Aloft Perth is, without question, one of the ultimate staycation destinations in Perth. Book your stay before 31 August 2017 and you will get to enjoy overnight accommodation, a signature cocktail, morning graze platter for two and late check out for the extremely reasonable price of $149. You’d be crazy not to stay two nights!
