The Verdict
Welcome back to a coffee fanatic’s paradise. The Attic in Freo is well worth a visit, with the food, coffee and vibes being just a few reasons why. Run by the legends who also brought us Louis Baxters in Subi, you know you’re in good hands when you walk into this spot (and they love pooches, so bring along your fluffy pal).
Offering a specialty blend of Timely Coffees in Bayswater, the food menu to go with it is all we could ever ask for. Choose from sweet, savoury, salty, and all kinds of other flavours from their all day menu. We’re personally big fans of the crispy duck hash, and it’s just as mouth watering as it sounds: feast on a bed of roast potatoes with shredded duck, plus a fried egg and herbs to top it off.
Exposed brickwork? Tick. Natural light? Tick. Lush green plants? Tick. Great food? Tick, tick, tick… okay, we’ll stop. You get the gist. Did we mention they don’t add a surcharge on public holidays and weekends?
They’re open every day for your coffee fix from 7:30am-3pm, with the kitchen closing at 2pm.
