To make it through the daily grind every week, prioritising some R&R is key; and while you could opt for the likes of a day spa, why not kick the relaxation vibes into high gear with a getaway where the outdoor bath is actually the main attraction?

Here at Urban List we've done the hard yards, embraced our inner zen and found you the cutest cottages, lush cabins, and luxe villas with the best outdoor baths to soak in.

Let your hair down, and book yourself in for a weekend at one of these ultra-tranquil stays with epic outdoor baths on the Sunshine Coast in 2025.

Mapleton | Sleeps 2 Gracie Cottage

Not only is this cute cottage that sits on a Sunshine Coast rose farm beautifully decorated with vintage country vibes; it's got outdoor and indoor fireplaces AND a claw-footed bath out in the lush garden. (It's also a guest favourite property with a big bunch of five-star reviews.)

Pad on out to one of the three lovely verandahs at this Airbnb and there's a whole heap of things to do: enjoy a leisurely lunch at the large outdoor table, take a load off in one of the charming Adirondack chairs, or sip on your cuppa at the breakfast bar overlooking the gardens. Basically, there’s no way you’re not going to love this place and you should go ahead and book that stay. If you need more reasons, it’s got a full kitchen, views of Obi Valley, and is just a short distance from Mapleton village. We’re sold—lock in your stay here.

Eumundi | Sleeps 2 Yutori Cottage Eumundi

You’re right in the heart of Eumundi (just 300 metres from the centre in fact) at this Sunshine Coast stay (which also makes our list of the Best Sunshine Coast Accommodation), but you’d never think it thanks to the serenity it offers by the spoonful.

Your seriously cute cottage, which was built using mostly recycled materials, overlooks a dam and is surrounded by trees and wildlife. Grab your book, fill up the outdoor bath and you might spot a wallaby grazing nearby. The peeps that own this place love supporting the community, so there’s thoughtful local products provided for your stay. Once you’ve done wandering the town or hanging out by your fire pit, climb the steep stairs to your cosy bedroom in the loft and snuggle up in front of the smart TV.

Bellthorpe | Sleeps 2 Hidden Creek Cabin

Wake up amongst the trees in the aptly named Hidden Creek Cabin. Nestled atop the Bellthorpe range in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, this is the perfect hideaway to live out your ranch life dreams—views provided, espresso machine included and a fire pit just waiting to be lit.

Did we mention there was not just one outdoor bathtub but two? Enjoy a soak surrounded by bubbles (of all varieties but champagne encouraged) in a tub that overlooks the rolling hills of the 50-acre property.

Buderim | Sleeps 4 La Casita

Okay… so this award-winning Sunshine Coast stay doesn’t have an outdoor bath per se. But bear with us, because La Casita boasts a freestanding bath from which you can actually stargaze, and it sits next to a clear glass wall with a lovely view out to the backyard, so it’s got definite alfresco dip vibes. Want actual outdoor soaking? This epic Airbnb has you covered, with its outdoor hot tub (oh, and it’s got a sauna too, so bring on that pamper sesh, stat).

Your accommodation has two king-size bedrooms, a big kitchen and laundry and we love the built-in barbecue area on the patio which will delight your nominated chef. Settle in with a glass of the good stuff and delight in your own bush retreat. There’s a fire pit to gather around later, and you’ve got two highland cows over the fence (hello Charlie and Maple).

Peregian Beach | Sleeps 6 Treetop Beach House

This one-of-a-kind home high up on a hill offers beach access via a track, with no roads to cross. You’re a short stroll to the many eateries and boutiques of Peregian Village here, and yet you’ll feel like you’re right in nature thanks to the garden oasis of palms, papaya, banana, pineapple, lychee, lemon, fig and mulberry trees.

Pick fruit from them, depending on the season, or pad on up to the top deck of your Sunshine Coast Airbnb and enjoy the epic views over the hinterland. There’s a four-person infrared sauna up there and two daybeds for the perfect pampering session. And if you want to amp up the luxe factor even more, head down to the second floor where you’ll find a private outdoor bath on the yoga deck for soaking in.

Mooloolah Valley | Sleeps 8 Lakeview Cottage

Situated on 50 acres of countryside overlooking Ewen Maddock dam, Lakeview Cottage gives you unlimited vantage points to relax and enjoy the Sunshine Coast hinterland views. We seriously recommend you take it in from the wood-fired outdoor bathtub, preferably with a glass of something special (with bubbles?) in hand.

Also boasting a fireplace, a huge verandah and barbecue and country-style furnishings, the cottage sits within a secluded koala forest accessible via a dirt road with no neighbours in sight so the only one to interrupt your sunset soak might be a wallaby or two.

Noosaville | Sleeps 2 Pool Oasis

If you’re looking for a getaway with your special someone then look no further than this picture-perfect guest suite in the heart of Noosa. The two-bedroom Sunshine Coast home offers not just a stunning outdoor bathtub where you can relax under the stars, but a full private pool and outdoor shower.

There are plenty of hammocks and day beds to soak up the sun and leave all the stress of work behind for the weekend. We’re about two seconds away from booking it out for the next three months so you better hurry if you want to beat us to it

Immerse yourself in nature at an adorable tiny house set on the edge of its own private dam. Little Olive Eco Cabin is tucked away around a 30-minute drive from Noosa, and this Sunshine Coast hinterland escape has everything you need for a top weekend. Inside, you’ve got a kitchen, bedroom with ensuite and lounge room with a super cute pot belly stove, while outside you can soak away the stresses of the day in the tempting outdoor bath.

Head over to your own pontoon (there’s a kayak you can use if you fancy a paddle) or sway the day away in the swing chair over the dam. You’re welcome to pick herbs from the veggie garden for your dinner, and there’s a fire pit for cosying up around, come nightfall.

Sunshine Coast Hinterland | Sleeps 4 Donnington Ridge Eco Cabin

One of the few family-friendly cabins on this list, Donnington Ridge is an off-grid spot tucked away in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland that is just twelve minutes from Maleny, so you’ll have the best of both worlds.

With a queen bed and a king single bunk bed inside the stylish, minimalist cabin, you can spend your days enjoying the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills (preferably from the outdoor bath on the verandah), sitting by the firepit, taking a dip in the nearby creek or playing the giant outdoor games supplied.

Caloundra | Sleeps 4 The Banksia House

An architectural gem you won’t want to leave, The Banksia House looks like it has come from the pages of Architectural Digest and we’re here for it. With its indoor-outdoor living, it would be impossible to not feel connected with nature at this Sunshine Coast Airbnb.

Wake up on the right side of the bed with the top-of-the-line mattresses, then take a dip in the pool, play a game or two of barefoot boules, and finish off the day in the expansive outdoor tub with a drink in hand. This house has something for everyone, with stacks of outdoor entertaining as well as relaxing amenities

Kin Kin | Sleeps 6 Mayan Luxe Villas House

If you want the farm vibes but not the rustic accommodation, Mayan Farm is the spot for you. Sitting on more than 100 acres in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, the farm is home to cattle, horses, ducks and sheep, but it also now hosts those with only two legs, thanks to a luxe rammed earth villa on the property.

This place has an alfresco deck, pizza oven and a plunge pool, as well as the best bathtub overlooking the wide open farmland. The main villa has two self-contained king bedrooms and sleeps six so you can bring the whole crew.

Noosa Heads | Sleeps 2 Shack Palace Noosa Home

When you imagine architectural perfection, what comes to mind is probably something close to Shack Palace in Noosa Heads. Inside these modern walls are the sleekest interiors you’ll ever see.

The dark wooden furniture and liquorice-coloured walls create a truly immersive holiday experience where you’ll feel calm, cosy, and disconnected from the world. Perfect for couples on a romantic getaway, you can admire the panoramic mountain views from the connecting deck and open-air bathtub.

Montville | Sleeps 6 Bird Song Valley

Montville is synonymous with peace and quiet, and this 1920s Queenslander on the outskirts of town is no different. Bird Song Valley has three bedrooms so you can have up to six guests all soaking up the sights and sounds of the hinterland—and there’s a custom-made free-standing spa just outside the master bedroom with French doors that open right up to that view.

Have fun fighting over that room with your friends. There’s also a wraparound verandah, Hamptons-style kitchen and a second tub in the bathroom so no one will actually miss out.

West Woombye | Sleeps 4 Starry Nights Luxury Camping

If you’re to get away from it all without actually going too far from civilization, Starry Nights in West Woombye is for you. Perched in and amongst the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast you’ll have complete privacy in the midst of a tranquil forest.

Dig the outdoor bath vibe by taking a soak with the canvas wall rolled all the way up; lie in the large king-sized bed, or laze around on the couch next to the food fire as you take in the peaceful serenity of Woombye. Just ten minutes from Montville and 20 from Mooloolaba Beach, Starry Nights Luxury Camping is the perfect place to unwind and relax while still being close to everything else you want in a weekend break.

Curramore | Sleeps 2 Wild Sparrow Lodge

A sparkling pool to swim in AND an outdoor bath with elevated views? Wild Sparrow Lodge is bringing its A-game and we’re in love. This Sunshine Coast stay sits on the doorstep of Maleny National State Forest and so if it's R&R you’re after, jump right on in.

If you’re on a road trip and bringing your caravan, there’s space enough here for it to park and charge which is pretty handy, plus your one-acre plot has heaps of fruit trees dotted and views of the neighbouring farmland beyond. Maleny is just a 12-minute drive away if browsing the galleries and boutiques takes your fancy, or you could just snuggle up together in front of the cosy indoor fire (no judgement here). Come dinner time, we reckon firing up the Weber barbecue for a juicy steak meal might be in order, followed by a nightcap around the cracking outdoor fire pit.

Cooroy | Sleeps 2 Noosa Hinterland Cabin

Looking for a quiet, couples getaway in the country? This Noosa Hinterland Cabin has an outdoor bath perfect for cow watching. Yes, you heard right, there’s plenty of cows on this Sunshine Coast property that you are welcome to pat and feed to live out your farm life dreams.

Only 30 minutes from Noosa Main Beach, it’s easy to make a day trip into town if you are missing the crowds. If you’re craving total silence and seclusion instead privacy is guaranteed at this stunning spot with 25 acres of land all to yourself.

Maidenwell | Sleeps 2 The Firebreak

It’s time to explore the beautiful countryside of Yarraman, in one of The Firebreak’s luxury, secluded cabins. Around two hours from the Sunshine Coast, choose from either their Granary or Quarters estate, they're both adults-only and feature a welcoming fire-place, wood-fired hot tub and outdoor bath to soak in the breathtaking views of the bunya mountain foothills.

The cabins are entirely off-grid blending harmousily with the regenerative farm that surrounds you, the only difference being the view of the sunset you take in.
