Brisbane’s beauty scene is getting a glow up, with Adore Beauty announcing its first Queensland bricks-and-mortar store set to open doors this week. Offering a curated selection of the 25-year-old Aussie retailer’s famous range with the added bonus of instant gratification, this is only step one with plans for additional locations across the state in the works.

Westfield Carindale is the lucky home of the new flagship store, giving you the chance to shop skincare, haircare, fragrance, wellness and makeup products offline. Hawking big-name brands in skincare (think Dermalogica, Aspect, and Medik8), haircare  (we’re talking Kevin Murphy, Oribe, K-18 and Eleven), fragrance (expect Prada, Burberry and Who Is Elijah), and makeup (like Estee Lauder, NYX and TirTir), the Adore Beauty store will also house a Korean beauty shop-in-shop, where you can get your hands on K-Beauty staples like Biodance, Medicube and Beauty of Joseon.

Plus, it’s not just retail therapy on the cards here; the space will also feature a private treatment room where you can access in-depth skin analysis, LED light therapy, cutting-edge facials, and complimentary consultations with trained dermal therapists. There’ll also be monthly takeovers spotlighting a different skincare brand (kicking off with global cult-fave Dermalogica) and digitally-integrated kiosks throughout the store offering an ‘endless aisle’ shopping experience featuring Adore Beauty’s 14,000+ product range.

And, of course, you’ll get a free mini Tim Tam with every in-store purchase.

It’s a big year for Adore Beauty’s physical presence, as they’ve already opened two stores in Melbourne and two in Perth. The beauty giant is making its Sydney debut this week and following the Brisbane store, it has plans to open 25+ stores around the country within the next two years. It’s a space with fierce competition—especially after Mecca opened its mammoth beauty wonderland on Bourke Street this month—and marks a huge step for the company who’s been known until this point for treating you to the best beauty brands without having to leave the couch.

“We see enormous opportunity in expanding our retail footprint—not just to meet demand from loyal customers across Australia, but to redefine what a modern beauty experience looks like,” says Adore Beauty CEO Sacha Laing. “By combining digital insights with immersive in-store services, we’re setting a new standard in the way Australians discover and shop beauty. Queensland is an important market for us, and Carindale is the perfect place to start.”

Adore Beauty will open at Westfield Carindale on 18 September at 9am with the first 300 customers receiving a free Adore Beauty goodie bag of deluxe samples.
