I've heard that breakfast is the meal of champions, so when I've started my day with an indulgent buffet breakfast at SkyPoint, it's always been sunny side up. Watch the world go by from the top of one of the tallest residential buildings in the world at Q1’s SkyPoint, 230 metres above the ocean.

This is Queensland's only revolving buffet restaurant, and the views are stunning. Perched above the Crowne Plaza in Surfers, Horizon is a quintessential Gold Coast buffet with all the trimmings. This sky dining menu changes often, but you can expect to find delicacies like Balmain Bugs, cean fresh prawns and even full charcuterie meats like pancetta, Hungarian salami, mustards and chutney.
Across the hot section there are gyoza with ponzu sauce, oysters kilpatric and even slow baked lamb legs. And let's not forget the decadent dessert lineup of macadamia caramel slice, jaffa cake and double brie with camembert, blue and cheddar cheeses that team with quince paste and fruits. It's one of the most induldgent buffets on the Gold Coast and if you can fork out the price, try it just once.
