Where To Find The Gold Coast’s Best Matcha In 2025

5th Nov 2025
Written by: Urban List Writers

Matcha has well and truly made its mark on the Gold Coast/Kombumerri Country cafe scene—and if you haven’t joined the green tea cult yet, what are you waiting for? Rooted in centuries of Japanese tradition, this vibrant powdered tea has moved beyond its ceremonial roots and found a second home in our morning routines.

While it’s been embraced by wellness lovers and TikTok trendsetters, matcha is so much more than just a photogenic health trend. It delivers a clean caffeine boost without the coffee crash, it’s packed with antioxidants, and when it’s done right, it’s downright delicious.

We’ll never fully abandon our beloved bean juice, but we’ve definitely developed a soft spot for that signature green sip. Whether you like yours traditional, dirty, or blended into a gourmet latte, we’ve got you. Here's the North to South of 25 of the best matcha spots on the Gold Coast so you can sip your way through the green goodness.

Butter Bodega

The latest Labrador addition has landed with a bang, and it’s safe to say we are not the only ones obsessed with Butter Bodega’s matcha combos. What they lack in space, they make up for aesthetically, and you can grab your daily essentials in style while you wait for your Pumpkin Spice matcha latte.

That’s right, their flavours are that unique. But if you love your berry-flavoured matcha, don’t fix what’s broken and opt for a cherry, blueberry or strawberry option. Drool.
