If the kids are driving you around the bend and your calendar is looking dangerously empty, consider this your sign. The Gold Coast has levelled up its theme park offering, with four new attractions landing across Sea World, Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet’n’Wild just in time for peak summer holidays energy. ONE Dolphin Presentation, Sea World

Sea World is ushering in a new era with ONE, an all-new dolphin presentation that leans less theme park spectacle and more cinematic storytelling. This isn’t just about flips and splashes, it’s a thoughtfully choreographed experience exploring the connection between humans and dolphins, the future of our oceans and the responsibility we carry to protect them.

You’re in for graceful movement, emotive visuals and a slower, more reflective pace that still delivers plenty of wow moments with a team of dolphins that were rescued as calves. It’s the kind of attraction that hits different, in a good way, and one you’ll want to see at least once this summer.

Movie World is bringing the chaos with Spy Chase: Stunt Show, a live-action thrill ride disguised as a show. Set inside a charming Italian-style village that is very much about to be destroyed, the plot revolves around a top-secret device, a ruthless villain and your role in stopping total annihilation.

What follows is a high-octane mash-up of explosive stunts, roaring engines, precision driving and edge-of-your-seat action that unfolds live in front of you. It’s loud, fast and gloriously over-the-top, exactly how we like our summer entertainment.

Zoinks. The SCOOBY-DOO! Spooky Coaster is officially making its return, and nostalgia lovers are going to want to clear their schedules. This refreshed version of the cult-fave ride brings back the mystery, the mayhem and the gang we all grew up with, dialled up with spooky thrills and modern ride tech.

Whether you’re a lifelong Scooby fan or just here for a slightly haunted coaster moment, expect groovy chills, familiar frights and plenty of “Ruh-roh!” vibes as the Mystery Machine revs back into action.

Zoom Zone, Wet’n’Wild

If your idea of fun involves gravity doing most of the work, Wet’n’Wild’s Zoom Zone is already calling your name. Now open, this towering new precinct stands 17.6 metres above the park and delivers four high-speed body slides wrapped in colour-changing tubes that look just as good as they feel.

There are no rafts, no rings and nowhere to hide, it’s just you, the water and a full-body adrenaline hit from top to bottom. It’s fast, slick and absolutely not for the faint-hearted.

Four new attractions. Zero excuses. Lock in your theme park passes now and get amongst the Gold Coast’s biggest summer drop before everyone else does.
