Kick start your mornings at Kingsland’s latest hot spot and say hello to Antheia’s Loft, a charming new eatery that is dishing up all the goods.

This new little gem is nestled right next door to Auckland’s fave pizza joint, Umu, and fits in perfectly with Kingsland’s laid back vibe. At first glance, it may appear small but don’t let that fool you, take a peek upstairs to ‘the loft’, where you can dine til your heart’s content.

The decor will transport you to a scene from Mamma Mia—splashes of blue stand out against the white backwash, while the abundance of greenery makes you feel like you’re on a tropical island.

Drawing inspiration from Greek mythology (hence the name) Antheia’s prides itself on delivering top-notch grub made from fresh, healthy ingredients and sourced by local suppliers. So if you’re after something healthy to kickstart your day then Antheia’s has got your back.

On arrival you’ll be greeted by a range of tasty cabinet treats, think salted caramel slices, chocolate and walnut banana bread, toffee and apple brownies that are melt in your mouth perfection and scones and croissants galore. Oh, and did we mention that the toffee apple slice is vegan and gluten-free?

Don’t have a sweet tooth? Never fear there’s plenty of savoury options available. If you’re after something to go, sink your teeth into some epic sammies—the chicken, pesto and avo baguette caught our eye or the falafel and hummus wrap would be the perfect lunch option. Staying off those carbs? Then there’s also freshly made salads to choose from.

If you’ve got time we suggest dining in upstairs, there’s plenty of space for you to sit back, relax and fill your face. The menu certainly won’t disappoint, filled with classics that we all know and love. Get amongst the vegan creamy mushrooms, made from cashew cream, garlic mushrooms, rocket and served on fresh sourdough.

The hash benedict adds a modern twist to the traditional eggs bene, served on kumara hash with crispy kale, while the kimchi pancakes stir things up with a savoury take on the usual sweet dish.

Eat like a true Greek God with the Goddess breakfast—a moreish blend of tomato sumac scrambled eggs, grilled halloumi, crispy kale, yoghurt honey walnuts and sourdough.

If all of that hasn’t won you over, then check out their happy hour from 7.30-8:30 am every day, where you can get your daily caffeine fix for just $3. Winning!

Offering something for everyone from berry bircher to taco’s, there’s no doubt that this little gem is going to be a new fave spot in Kingsland.
