Auckland Is Getting A Pop-Up Aperol Spritz Bar!

If cocktails with city views sounds like your jam this summer (um, yes!), then we have news for you! It’s time to get excited because The Deck at Ostro has been transformed into an Aperol Spritz garden for one month only.

Throughout the month of February, the restaurant’s much-loved (and newly renovated) The Deck will resemble a classic Italian summer setting—a nod to Aperol’s origins. Overlooking Britomart and beyond, the venue boasts a huge open balcony that creates a dreamy al fresco vibe.

While soaking in the spectacular views, sip on the iconic bright orange aperitif, which is known and loved for its blend of bitter and sweet oranges, herbs and botanicals. When paired with Prosecco (such as Cinzano) and a dash of soda, you’ve got yourself a summer-friendly Aperol Spritz you’ll want to drink, all. Day. Long.

Even better, every Sunday arvo, things will be turned up a notch with Aperol’s Sunday Sessions. The afternoons will be about sweet tunes, good vibes and—of course—refreshing cocktails.

Kicking off from 3pm, Auckland’s finest DJs will be dropping summery beats ‘til the sun goes down.

Art Heist, one half of popular duo Sweet Mix Kids, will be playing, as will George FM DJs Marina Katerina and Arii Jade. We’re especially excited about the guest appearance from Sydney-based DJ slash producer Mia Paris, who is set to get things pumpin’.

One thing’s for certain: we know where we’ll be hanging out this month. See you there!
