Apparently Cantabrians are the biggest Caramilk fans in New Zealand and Cadbury has taken notice. They’ve crowned Christchurch the Caramilk Capital of New Zealand and partnered with the local legends at C1 Espresso. For the next two weeks, C1 is the official headquarters of Caramilk with a limited edition menu of tasty, visual and sensory delights. You’re invited to experience a range of innovative C1 desserts featuring, you guessed it, Caramilk chocolate as an ingredient.
Feast your eyes on the instagrammable blooming marshmallow flower Caramilk hot chocolate or treat your tummy to the fluffy marshmallow golden egg. They’ve even created a selfie Caramilk hot chocolate, where you can get your face screen-printed on a hot chocolate. Why not surprise your partner or best pal with a hot chocolate printed with both your faces?
One of our top picks is the chocolate mousse with almond crumb, toasted coconut, chocolate curls and caramel and the cake pops with pistachio, orange and chocolate. These scrumptious Caramilk treats will rotate on the menu throughout the next two weeks. Fans can also order from the cabinet, which will hold a range of Caramilk delights such as a Caramilk lamington.
C1 Espresso is a Christchurch institution, known for its innovation and creativity. It’s a spot that continues to draw in both visitors and regulars and there’s no better place to celebrate Caramilk and its hardcore, well-deserving fans.
To further celebrate and thank the people of Christchurch, Cadbury is working with local artist Jacob Yikes to create a mural depicting the city as the Caramilk Capital of New Zealand. How rad is that?
