The cooler months mean soul-warming food and The Culpeper is one step ahead with the release of their new winter menu which is filled with ultra-hearty comforting meals. From the selection of the large plates, there's smoked beef cheek with crushed celeriac, Italian cabbage and a barbeque glaze, the crispy pork cheek scrumpet with burnt end beans and smoked potato saffron rouille, and the whole yellow belly flounder with green grapes, almonds, lemon and brown butter. The small plates menu includes tasty newcomers like the Culpeper fried chicken with scotch bonnet mayonnaise, flash fried shrimp tacos with lettuce cups, rice noodles, chilli and lime as well as the lamb merguez corn dogs with hazelnut dukkah spice, date and whipped feta dressing. Delicious.
