'Monopoly: The Unauthorised Musical' Hits Old Mill Theatre

Roll the dice on your plans heading into the weekend with this unique musical inspired by the iconic family board game. ‘Monopoly: The Unauthorised Musical’ opens Thursday for a limited season, blending 80s and 90s action film energy with a vintage ensemble solving financial chaos through song. It’s weirdly brilliant, and definitely one to catch before it passes Go.

Last Chance To See Bloom Festival In Joondalup 

It’s your final chance to catch Bloom Festival lighting up Joondalup Central Park this weekend.  If you don’t know, this festival is a series of light and colour projections, that blend with an interactive soundscape and laser displays. It’s a really vibey idea for a chill date night strolling around the park, or for some aesthetic insta story potential.

Royel Otis At Ice Cream Factory 

Kicking off Ice Cream Factory’s silly season, Royel Otis brings their coastal, indie rock sound to Northbridge on Thursday night. Kool Aid and Oysters In My Pocket are the kind of pres tracks we love, but you’d also know them from their viral covers of Linger and Murder On The Dancefloor. Their first show sold out instantly, so don’t miss this chance to get up on someone’s shoulders and make some core memories with your crew.

Get in your feels, James Blunt is back, taking over RAC Arena for another trip to his favourite place down under. You’ll know the words to You’re Beautiful,  but the whole set list will have you singing along to his biggest heartbreak anthems.

A cheeky cheers to Halloweekend! This year Halloween officially lands on a Friday night, which means festive events all weekend long. Friday’s vibe is wholesome fun and spooky festive events.

Pour Decisions Casamigos Tequila Dinner at The Reveley

Casamigos Tequila is bringing summer fiesta vibes to The Reveley. For $109, you’ll get a four-course menu: roasted capsicum empanadas, tuna ceviche, Harvey beef with chimichurri, and churros drenched in dark chocolate. The menu is paired with Casamigos cocktails, The Paloma, Margarita, El Diablo and Dirty Horchata for a sweet, spicy, salty, flavour explosion. Book ahead to make sure there’s room for your seat at the fiesta table.

Catch A Halloween AFLW Game Between West Coast Eagles And Carlton 

AFLW season has bounced down with a bang, and this week’s game at Sullivan Logistics Stadium is set to bring in the Halloween crowd with a mix of sport and spooky vibes. The Freedom Fairies will be doing face painting, there’s a Halloween craft station, and the WA Birds of Prey crew will be on site for animal encounters. For the superfans, there’s even an AFL-themed flash tattoo station! Make sure to swing by the Mix 94.5 tent early, because their spin-wheel prizes always go fast. Tickets are $15 and free for under 18s, making this one an easy, affordable way to back the girls and soak up the energy.

Dress-Up Uno Competition at Pirate Bar 

The Alternative are back with another night of organised chaos at Pirate Bar. Their infamous Uno nights are always a hit, and this time, it’s a dress-up edition for Halloween. Generous cash prizes go to the top three players, and plenty of people roll in solo to connect and find their +2s. Think of it as the perfect mix of game night in and a hectic night out, minus the hangover of an actual clubbing sesh.

Halloween Celebrations Continue 

Halloween continues in full force on Saturday night, so expect the city to be buzzing with costumes, music and a lotttt of Northbridge traffic. Here’s where to go depending on your vibe: 

  • Seasons Halloween ft. Medusa At Langley Park is the big ticket event. The grounds transform with carnival rides, performers, karaoke inside a church, multiple stages, haunted houses, a silent disco and food trucks.

  • House Of Horrors at Lawson Flats for anyone who misses the good vibes of a proper house party but still wants to go out, Lawson Flats is the move. The art deco coworking and social house transforms into a haunted mansion for one night only, with a strict no costume, no entry rule.

  • Family Grave Day at The Court is an all ages, halloween themed rave, which blends the nostalgia of your old party days with family fun. Or, if you’re the cool uncle or aunt (like me) it’s a chance to convert your siblings' kids from Kidsbop to Baddadan.

Santa Flips The Switch On Perth’s Biggest Christmas Tree 

Mariah Carey may have officially defrosted the festive spirits at Fridayz Live singing 'All I Want For Christmas Is You', because now Santa’s taking the reins. He’s making his grand entrance at Karrinyup Shopping Centre to light up Perth’s tallest Christmas tree! There’ll be dancers, merry performers, and a huge six-metre hot air balloon to add onto the light up festivities. The installations have over 25,000 metres of lights and 35,000 baubles, so the countdown to the big light-up won’t be a let down!

Intuition Wine & Bar First Birthday Party 

It’s officially been a year of Intuition Wine And Kitchen, and to celebrate they’re leaning into their luxe vibes with a beautifully crafted eving. Chef Mathieu will guide you through a six-course tasting menu, entitled “Greatest Hits”. The menu is a curated selection of Institution's most loved specials, only reimagined. and paired with the perfect wines to match. As much as I love food, what gets me most giddy is the roaming saxophone performer which sounds like a huge vibe. Plus, there’s also a theatrical mime performance to add to the playful chaos. Reservations are essential to secure your menu!

Get Ready To Rock, Metallica Is Taking Over Optus Stadium 

They say lightning doesn’t strike twice, but Metallica’s electric performances have hit Perth more times than we can count! On Saturday night, they’re back at Optus Stadium for a nearly sold out show with headbangers like ‘Master of Puppets’ and ‘Enter Sandman’, and a shaking stadium only an 80s band can cause. Concert earplugs are highllyyyy recommended (mine went missing, but I’d definitely be reordering my Loops before this gig)!

Brit-Fest At Ocean View Tavern 

England might be half a world away, but Brit Fest brings the UK’s best sounds right to Ocean View Tavern. This tribute band lineup emulates Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Madness, Oasis, The Beatles and The Stone Roses all night! With England being the most common overseas birthplace for West Aussies, this event is bound to be nostalgic for at least someone in your neighbourhood.

On Sunday 2 November, HeartKids is calling you to walk in support of families impacted by childhood-onset heart disease, with walking tours for charity. The choice is between 4km (to mark the four young lives lost each week) or 8km (to reflect the eight babies born daily with heart conditions). Funds raised go straight to support programs in hospitals and regional communities.
