What's On Thursday 11 September:
CQ Summer Soiree at Claremont Quarter
Claremont Quarter is putting on a proper spring fashion show, and Jessica Gomes is flying home to headline it. It comes at a perfect time to remedy this awkward style season where it’s not too hot or cold. The evening kicks off with an on-stage Q&A and a showcase of new season looks from brands like Aje, Camilla, Manning Cartel and moe. Around the edges? Free bubbles, spicy margs, and plenty of reasons to wander in and out of stores after hours. It’s free, so catwalk in around 6.00pm to get a good spot before things kick off at 7.00pm.
What's On Friday 12 September:
Sabrina Carpenter Album Launch Party At The Court
Sabrina Carpenter just headlined the VMA stage with a killer performance of her new song, Tears, and while I’ve got serious FOMO, The Court is giving Sabrina fans a slice of her brand new pop album right here in Perth. Superficial DJs are spinning Man’s Best Friend from start to finish, plus all the classic night out tunes and pop anthems you love. Tickets are Slim Pickins, so if you’re planning to throw back a few espresso martinis and sing with a room full of fans, grab them before they’re gone!
Sparkle and Sip With Drag Queen Terry Daktyl
This night is all about maxing out the sparkle in your life. Drag queen Terry Daktyl is bringing the rhinestones (1000 of them per person!) to the Wanneroo Tavern and showing you how to bedazzle whatever you’ve got in your house. BYO Jackets, hats, sneakers, bags, or even your favourite condiment bottles—if it can hold glue, it can sparkle! Drinks and food are on hand to fuel the creativity, and Terry throws in a few drag performances to soundtrack this sparkly affair. Grab the early bird ticket ($55) before 12 September if you want more bling for your buck!
FunkYeah Friday Morning Dip and Sip In Secret Harbour
Ease into your weekend with something that feels good for the soul. The Bogan Buddha leads a gratitude meditation, then everyone hits the ocean together for a salty morning dip. It’s simple, grounding and a surprisingly fun way to set the tone for your Friday. BYO towel, and some coin for coffee at the Surfing Lizard Cafe to warm up post-swim chats on the sand.
Perth Cabaret Collective Takes Over Lyric Lane
One of Perth’s most electric live acts is back for one night only. The Perth Cabaret Collective is filling the air at Lyric Lane with jazz melodies that swing, from big-band sass to cheeky cabaret chaos, all fronted by Cougar Morrison and Olivia Grace. If you know cabaret, it’s more than music— it’s the most extra showcase with horns that punch, insane vocals and the kind of energy that makes you feel like you’re inside Burlesque.
Pour Decisions Wine Dinner At The Reveley
Consider this your September splurge; The Reveley is teaming up with Margaret River’s LS Merchants for a four-course dinner where every plate meets its match in the glass of wine. Head Chef Luiz Scapini has built a seasonal menu around the pours, and the LS Merchant crew will be at the table sharing stories behind the labels. Tickets are $109pp and bookings are essential.
What's On Saturday 13 September:
Catch The Second Bokkies Clash At The Leederville Hotel
The Leederville Hotel is touching down on another buzzing event for the Bokkies’ second clash with the All Blacks. There’s South African tunes, plus SA food and drink specials pumping, with over a thousand supporters expected to pack the venue. If you’re going all in, the VIP area scores you your own bar and drinks package. Doors swing open at noon— so pace yourself, it’s a long one!
A Gals Night At The Garden
Saturday night plans for the gals are officially sorted. The Girls That Do crew are taking over The Garden for a chilled evening of drinks, music and laughs. There’ll be a few ice-breaker games to get people talking, (promise, nothing awkward!) but mostly it’s about meeting new besties and seeing where the night flows. It’s free entry, and you buy your own rounds, so you can decide how boozy and chaotic the night can become.
The Ultimate Girls Night By The Blackout Room
Round up your crew and dust off the cowboy boots— this one’s all about going big with your besties. The Blackout Room presents female only clubbing experiences which are all about bringing safe, inclusive energy into Perth’s night life scene. You’ll score a free shot, then it’s $7 drinks running all night. There’s no strict dress code either—sneakers, boots, or heels, whatever feels comfy. From 9:30pm, the vibes spill over to Club Bootylicious for a free mixed gender afterparty, so the night doesn’t have to end when the lights come up.
Bed By 10 Over 30s Clubbing At The Court
There’s another club night for the over-30s that won’t wreck your Sunday. Bed By 10 kicks off at 4pm with old-school club anthems from the 80s, 90s and 2000s, complete with confetti cannons and wild visuals that’ll take you back to the glory days of teased hair, peplum tops and chain mail. Doors close at 5:30pm, music wraps by 9pm, and you’ll still be in bed at a respectable hour (minus the taxi meter home)
What's On Sunday 14 September:
Fiesta Mexicana At Bright Tank Brewing
Bright Tank’s feast series are back, and this time the long tables dinners are getting a full Mexican makeover! Expect plenty of fire, flavour, and crispy, juicy share-style dishes designed to roll out with the cervezas. It’s happening Sunday 14 Sept from 4:30–7pm, with tickets at $65pp. Bring the energy, and a big appetite.
Ros Worthington Out of the Shadows Walk at Kings Park
You’re invited to gather as the sun rises over the sanctuary of Perth City’s park and botanic gardens, to honour the memory of those lost to suicide. The Ros Worthington Out of the Shadows Walk pays tribute to its founder, the late philanthropist Dr Ros Worthington OAM. In acknowledgement of World Suicide Prevention Day, this dawn walk is free, accessible and helps give everyone a safe and welcoming space for people to come together in remembrance.
Line Dancing in Swan Valley At The Swan Valley Settlers Market
Boot-scoot into Sunday with a full afternoon of line dancing under Swan Valley skies. The Swan Valley Settlers Market is offering easy-to-follow lessons (with no experience needed), and enough chuckwagon food trucks to keep you fuelled between dancing seshes. Stick around for axe throwing if you want a step up from two-stepping, and soak in the live country music, where the only entry fee is cowboy boots!
Chef Uma's Live Cooking Demo
Here’s a freebee masterclass not to miss—Chef Uma is taking to the open-air kitchen for a live demo of chicken and mixed veg biryani, complete with tastings, tips, tricks, and cultural insights. Bring a folding chair if you like, or just lean into the casual vibes—either way, you’ll walk away with spice knowledge that will wow your mates at your next potluck. Chef Uma is a proud dog owner, so they’ve invited your pooch to sneak a bite by your side too.
Si Paradisos Sunday Sesho By ‘Dancing In Space’
Si Paradiso has a new monthly Sunday residency, and Dancing In Space are first to christen the courtyard. Expect a full afternoon of Balearic, funk, disco and house spun by locals including Sacha Alexiou and Ben Taaffe. Entry’s free, and the specials are just as good as the lineup: $2 oysters, $4 gildas and stroppinos in a creamy collab with Chico Gelato. DJs run 4pm till late, so it’s the kind of Sunday that slides easily into Monday denial.
A Long Lunch For Charity With The Taste of Change
The Taste of Change goes beyond a long lunch and celebrates the full scope of WA’s food and drink scene, with some of the state’s best chefs and bartenders donating their time for a powerful cause. You can expect to be treated to a one-off degustation paired with stellar WA wines and signature cocktails curated by Elise Godwin, WA Good Food Guide’s 2022 Bartender of the Year. The best part, is that every dollar raised goes directly to Leading Youth Forward, a local volunteer-run organisation mentoring at-risk youth in Perth.
Perth Upmarket Returns With 200 Stallholders
Perth’s biggest design market returns to UWA for one day only, with over 200 stalls of local makers, artists and gourmet bites. If you’re scheming for Christmas time already, there’s some super creative stall holders here, like The Glass Flower Bar by Jennie Merrit, or Fayla Sleepwear, who recently launched Aussie sweet treat icon themed satin pajamas. The food lineup is particularly inclusive, with delicious stalls for every kind of dietary requirement. Doors open 10am sharp so make sure to get there early before the big crowds roll in.
Sundays Just Got Saucy Fires Up At Ribs Lane Subiaco
Ribs Lane is flipping Sundays into a saucy, spicy weekly feast with one hour of unlimited beef or pork ribs (or a mix of both) served with chips for $55pp. Portion sizes are always massive here, with way more meat than bone—so loosen your belt, grab your mates and get around the launch of these saucy Sunday seshes.
