You’re officially invited to stickybeak the new WACA Ground in all its glory. From 10am, you and the fam can splash down the water slides, bounce on the inflatables, add some ink with glitter tattoos (temporary, don’t worry Mum!), rub elbows with cricket royalty, plus get an exclusive peek at the brand spankibn’ world-class cricket facility. Krav Maga For A Cause at Krav Maga Perth
Throw some punches for a purpose with Krav Maga’s female-only self-defence workshop. In just two hours, you’ll learn practical moves, boost your confidence, and get real-world safety skills, all while raising funds for We Are W/M—the important local charity teaching consent, boundaries and healthy relationships. Pomtown at The Camfield
Oi oi, you lot! PomTown is back, bringing pies, pints and plenty of banter to the Camfield for a proper knees-up, innit. Chow down on classic British scran, sip iconic British bevs, and belt out your favourite tunes from ol Blighty. All tickets come with a free ticket and trains will be running to and from Perth Stadium Train Station all night long. Get in, lad!

Clean Up Australia Day

AFC Women’s Asian Cup Opener at Perth Stadium
Perth Stadium is about to explode with footy fever as the AFC Women’s Asian Cup kicks off right here in not-so-sleepy Perth. The Matildas face the Philippines in the tournament's blockbuster opening, but the action begins well before the first whistle. The Fan Zone at Stadium Park will be open early for games, interactive activations, and health hubs before an exclusive in-stadium performance by Kpop Demon Hunters star Audrey Nuna. This is one sporting showstopper you don’t want to miss.
Barrack Square Markets
Sunday mornings just got a major upgrade. Barrack Square Markets is back, turning the Bell Tower lawn into a riverside playground for brunch enthusiasts, wellness warriors and early birds. There’ll be feel-good fare coming out fresh from a bunch of food trucks, plus run clubs, yoga, Pilates, sound healing, meditation and more happening all morning. Stretch it out, find your zen or just flop on the grass in the sunshine with a croissant in one hand and a cappuccino in the other.
Lil’s 1st Birthday at Lil’s Rooftop Bar
Hip, hip, hooray—Lil’s is turning 1 and you’re on the guest list. Celebrate 12 months of mayhem and mischief on Murray Street, with a long, boozy lunch followed by the city’s hottest Sunday sesh, with $18 pizzas, $16 signature spritzes, $15 spiked gelato and live sax to keep the birthday party going all night long.
Hoedown & Hog Roast at Victoria Park Hotel
Yee haw, cowboys and cowgals, The Vic Park Hotel is saddling up for an epic Hoedown and Hog Roast this Sunday. Live country jams from the Honky Tonk Heroes starts at 3pm in the front bar, there’s a bucking bull to test your rodeo skills, an epic roast with all of the trimmings and enough wild-west energy to carry you straight through to the public holiday.
Oysters & Guinness Afternoons at Durty Nelly’s
Forget about oysters and champagne—this Sunday at Durty Nelly’s, it's all about oysters and $10 points of Guinness. Rock the Island: JET & Little Birdy Live at Hotel Rottnest
'So 1, 2, 3, take my hand and come with me…' straight to Hotel Rottnest this long weekend, because JET are out here asking the big question: are you gonna be my girl?! Doors open at 11am, with Little Birdy bringing the heart-tugging hooks at 3.30pm and JET taking to the stage at 4.45pm. Loud choruses, sea-breeze singalongs and an island sunset? Doesn't get much better than that.
Sip and Sing at The Leedy Hotel
Lipstick on and larynx warmed up, ladies! The Leederville Hotel is handing the mic to the girls this Sunday for a long-weekend belter. But make no misteak—this is no ordinary karaoke. It's a full-tilt power-balled pilgrimage, with shameless singalongs stacked with 80s, 90s and 00s anthems. Get on down early and be ready to sing your heart out!
Perth Festival
As if we weren’t already spoiled with shows and sunshine in February! From February 6, Perth Festival will be back to its old tricks, turning the city into a four-week hub of music, art, dance, film, performance and culture. Expect ARIA-winning acts like Baker Boy and Sudan Archives at the East Perth Power Station, intimate jazz and cabaret at The Embassy, world-class cinema screenings under the pine trees at UWA Somerville, and much, much more all month long.
Lunar New Year
Red lanterns, dumplings galore and enough firecrackers to light up the sky… it can only mean one thing! Lunar New Year has landed in Perth, and it’s bringing all the colour, chaos, good luck and dancing dragons you can handle. Toddlerfest at Scitech
If your smallest scientist has a brain that’s bigger than their body, beam them up to Scitech this month for Toddlerfest and let chaos, curiosity and creativity run wild. Happening every day of the week ‘til March 8, kids can build forts, squish slime, guide baby turtles to the sea, and blast off on a mini solar system adventure. Best bit of parents picking up the tab? Kids under 2 get in free. Not sure what the scientific term for a steal is, but this one’s it.
OMG! Festival (Thurs-Sun)
Lighting up Calista Oval for four nights of immersive arts, storytelling, Noongar culture and community magic, OMG! Festival is the glow-up Kwinana didn’t know it needed. Think giant light installations, roaming performers causing mischief, food trucks aplenty and a larger-than-life flying falcon puppet swooping around all weekend. It’s colourful, a little chaotic and completely unmissable.
Levels [Vol 4] at Stories (Fri & Sat)
Levels has landed at Stories, witht two days, three levels and zero excuses to take it easy this weekend. Kick things off each night with LVL 2 from 6PM, spinning Golden Era RnB bangers from the 90s and 00s, then dive into LVL 3 from 10PM for Boiler Room-style 1-hour takeovers dropping house, techno and UKG beats. Entry is free all weekend, and if you’re chasing that VIP flex on Sunday, DM ‘VIP’ to @storiesrooftop.
Hyde Park Festival (Sun + Mon)
Clear your calendar and fluff up your picnic rug—Hyde Park is throwing a two-day, long-weekend lawn party and everyone’s invited. Expect market mayhem (the good kind), food trucks slinging WA’s finest, live tunes and dance crews on repeat, plus rides, roaming performers and a treasure hunt. It’s free to roam, heavy on the shady-tree hangs, and every bite, browse and bumper car moment helps raise funds for Little Things for Tiny Tots, so you can snack, shop and soak it up for a solid cause.
TMC Fine Jewellers Pop Up at COMO The Treasury
Perth, it’s time to put a ring on it… or at least flirt with a few.
