That good ol’ Perth weather is playing tricks on us at the moment with glorious blue skies one day and rain the next, but no matter what the weather decides to do this weekend, we’ve got something for you. And there really is something for everyone this weekend! From music, comedy and dance festivals to indoor plant masterclasses and fun runs (with your dog of course) this weekend is looking the goods!

Here are 12 rad things to do in Perth this weekend.

MoveMe Dance Festival | Northbridge

The MoveMe Festival is all about Australian dance and they’re doing things a little bit differently. One festival ticket will get you access to all the main program shows as well as discounts at the bar, exclusive ticket offers and an invitation to DrinkMe—the Friday night celebration. Of course you can also get single tickets if you only want to go to one or two shows.

The Court Traffic Light Party | Northbridge

This ain’t your average traffic light party folks. There’s still the good ol’ fashioned dress in red/orange/green depending on your sitch, but The Court have gone high tech with their match making so you can text, Instagram, Facebook or tweet your way to true love tomorrow night.

DJ Paul Gamblin | Fremantle

DJ Paul Gamblin is an old school vinyl only DJ and to that we say respect. If you’re partial to a bit of punk rock and dub reggae head down to Creatures Next Door for a drink and some music to kick start your weekend.

Focus On The Fiddle Leaf | Fremantle

If you’re an indoor plant lover but also a serial plant killer, raise your hand… thought so. Luckily for you, the kind souls at Stackwood in Freo are holding a workshop focusing on the basics like light, water, common pests and other health complaints. Not just for fiddle leaf fig lovers, the workshop will also focus on general indoor plant care.

Summer Season Launch Party—Miami Nights | Leederville

The good people at The Blue Flamingo know how to throw a party and that’s what they’ll be doing all summer long. Perth, Canada currently holds the world record for the greatest number of kilt runners so get yourself and your kilt to Armadale this weekend and help the best Perth (Perth, WA… obvs) claim that record! All the proceeds go to Beyond Blue so you can have a laugh and feel good pretty dang about it.
