We hope you have your eye in, because Perth’s just scored the first-ever Aussie outlet of the popular UK social dart experience, Flight Club.
Opening at 383 Murray Street in Perth’s CBD this Friday, the two-storey bar has a fun 1800s British fairground aesthetic—think vintage wallpaper, a merry-go-round horse, retro amusement park lighting and art pieces curated from UK flea markets—with a mix of high table seating, chesterfield-style lounge booths, and of course, some cosy nooks for your group to gather round and throw some darts. The fit out cost a cool $5.5 million and five years to complete, and you can tell.
The main attraction is definitely the cutting-edge darts, but for those who aren’t feeling too competitive, there’s plenty to keep you there all night. At the bar, they’re slinging some seriously fun remixes on classic cocktails like espresso martinis, old fashions and more, as well as a special shared concoction that comes served in a giant trophy cup—designed for four, but nobody will stop you from tackling it on your own.
When you work up an appetite, the kitchen has you covered with tasty nibbles perfect for sharing—we’re talking pizza paddles, cheeseburger spring rolls and crispy popcorn chicken to fried mac and cheese croquettes, spiced cauliflower wings and sticky pork belly bites. There’s also a number of main meals like a classic pub parmi if you’re not up for sharing.
Back it all up with a DJ spinning party tunes all night, and you’re in for a damn good night.
