For plenty of north-east Perth locals, a Galleria (fondly known to locals as 'Gallaz') trip was the kind of weekend plan that could stretch into an afternoon. Soon, that familiar wander will have a new, more chic look: the centre’s Fashion Mall opens Thursday 5 November, marking a major milestone in its circa-$240 million transformation.

There’ll be plenty of familiar names among the new arrivals. Country Road, Seed, Oroton, Witchery and Perfect Stranger join a bigger line-up of fashion, while JD Sports, Adidas, City Beach and Rapid Wear bring fresh options for sneakers, streetwear and activewear.

Myer is getting a refreshed layout and beauty hall, with more than 120 new brands—including 50 across beauty and skincare. MECCA, W Cosmetics and Skin Kandy add to the beauty offering, while Palermo Perfumes brings more than 1,600 fragrances to the centre in a WA first.

JB Hi-Fi, Miniso and Mobile Experts round out the new tech and lifestyle options. And bookshop browsers, take note: Harry Hartog is set to open its first WA store soon after the Fashion Mall launch.

The refresh goes beyond the shopfronts, with upgraded public spaces, amenities, lighting and flooring, plus greenery throughout. More than 20 retailers will also unveil new store concepts, including Decjuba and SHEIKE. Once the wider transformation is complete, Galleria says nearly 100 new and returning retailers will be part of the centre.

Opening-weekend plans include giveaways, specials, entertainment and immersive experiences, with more details still to come. The Entertainment and Dining Precinct is also on the way—so we'll be keeping our eyes peeled to bring you all the hot updates.
