That familiar feeling of having no idea where the year’s gone and simultaneously thinking it was never going to end is upon us again as we quickly approach the last day of 2018. Whether you’re confused about how we got here or just plain done with the year that’s been, it’s time to get your NYE plans sorted.
New Year’s Eve sees Perth sparkle, and we don’t just mean with fireworks. From beachfront eateries and classy rooftop bars to pop-up parties and all-out indulgence, there are so many great places to ring in 2019 that the only hard part will be deciding where to go. Whether you want to dance, eat or treat yourself into the New Year, here's where to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Perth.
If You Want To Party
For a guaranteed good time, lock yourself in to spend this New Year’s Eve at Perth’s favourite carpark party, Freedom Time. The certified NYE mecca for discerning dance enthusiasts, this is a day-night party like no other, complete with free-spirited festival vibes, a bang-on sound-system and a line-up of local and international DJs that’ll have your feet moving.
ClubbMedd NYE Party At The Federal Hotel
Though full line-up deets are yet to be announced, you know it’s going to be good if ClubbMedd’s involved. This extra special New Year’s Eve instalment outside at The Federal Hotel will celebrate all the floor-shakingly good parties they’ve put on throughout 2018 and all those who’ve made them memorable on the dancefloor.
Bar-Pop NYE Party At Ice Cream Factory
The sell-out Bar Pop NYE Party is back at Ice Cream Factory for another round of festive shenanigans, complete this year with an outdoor ice cream tower stage, a warehouse stage, silent disco, rides, garden games and a bunch of pop-ups from your fave Perth bars, eateries and clubs. It’s going to be large enough, but you can supersize and go VIP if you want to go all out with a reserved rooftop deck overlooking mainstage, table service and your very own bathrooms.
Leederville Block Party
The regular Leedy suspects are teaming up to put on another New Year’s Eve extravaganza in the Vincent Street car park for this year’s Block Party. Explore six stages spread across six venues, including Bill’s, Blue Flamingo, Babushka and The Tiny Club, each with their own vibe held down by a stinging line-up of local and national names.
Block Party At Long Chim
Party in style and in masses of delicious food and cocktails at Long Chim and Petition Beer Corner’s NYE Block Party. The crew are putting on three hours of Long Chim cocktails, Petition craft beers and premium wines, alongside different selections of fresh eats and tunes in each space.
