Seafood Boil at The Pen Mandurah
Roll up your sleeves and prepare to get gloriously grubby: Mandurah’s Crab Fest weekend is cracking open this weekend with a full-blown seafood boil in the Pen’s beer garden. Expect mountains of mussels, crabs, prawns, squid, clams and more, dumped directly onto the table, best tackled with a couple of cold drinks and a lot of napkins. Tickets to this briny, buttered banquet are going for $150 and include two bevvies plus dessert.
What's On Friday 13 March:
AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia Semi-Final at Perth Rectangular Stadium
After weeks of high-stakes games, the Matildas are back on home turf for a knockdown showdown with Korea DPR. This one is promising semi-final stakes with edge-of-your-seat action, with Sam Kerr, Ellie Carpenter and the whole Aussie crew ready to take the W. But DPR Korea aren’t coming to play second fiddle—they’ve got pedigree, fire and a young squad itching to shake things up. Grab a seat at Perth Rectangular Stadium this Friday and cheer on our Tillies.
Sound Healing at The Mark
Body and brain need a tune-up? Plug in, zone out and let Julian Silburn’s Yidaki, Quartz Crystal Didgeridoo and a mix of world instruments whisk you into a restorative sound bubble. With over 30 years of practice and deep ties to Aboriginal communities, Julian turns vibration and frequency in a full-body, mind-melting reset. This is 90 minutes of pure sonic bliss needed after a whirlwind summer, book your spot today because this one fills up fast.
Fridays at Luis’ with Low End Therapy DJs at Lawson Flats
Low End Therapy DJs are taking over Luis’ this Friday, serving up fresh beats while you sip bubbles and slurp oysters all night long. Daily happy hour runs 5-6pm to get the weekend rolling, with music from the get-go and dinner bookings encouraged.
What's On Saturday 14 March:
Full Service: 2000’s Bottomless at The Camfield
Pull on your juicy Couture velour tracksuits and dust off the butterfly clips, because the Camfield is reliving the noughties for a boozy, nostalgic-packed afternoon. Two hours of free-flowing bubbles, beer, wine and cocktails come with a three-course share-style Britney, Blink182, Beyonce and all your decade-defying hits play on repeat. Dress to stun in your Y2K finest and you might just win a Tamagotchi.
Mummy & Me High Tea at Vic Park Hotel
Time for a little mid-morning magic with your mini-me. The Vic Park Hotel is rolling out their Mummy & Me High Tea, a baby-friendly brunch where prams, giggles, crying and gentle chaos are all allowed. Nibble on elegant bites, sip tea or coffee, and let the little ones explore fun activities while parents sneak in a proper catch-up. Craving something a little stronger? Upgrade to a bottomless spritz offering and add a bit of sparkle to your sips.
PUPU Victoria Park Opening
Vic Park is getting a seriously swirly sugar upgrade this Saturday as PUPU opens its doors on Albany Highway. The brand spankin’ soft serve spot is slinging both creative and classic flavours like matcha, ube, hokkaido milk and strawberry cheesecake, alongside choux puffs, basque cheesecake, layered lamington and a bunch of special drinks. First 100 through the door score a free soft serve, then it’s buy-one-get-one all day long. Doors open at 12, don’t be late!
La Traviata Opening Night at His Majesty’s Theatre
Drama, decadence and a heartbreak or two—the West Australian Opera is bringing an emotionally charged production of Verdi’s La Traviata back to the stage. Kicking off a two-week run at His Majesty’s Theatre this Saturday, La Traviata follows the forbidden love story of party girl Violetta and idealistic aristocrat Alfredo, with plenty of passion, scandal, and xx along the way. Don’t listen to Timothée Chalamet: opera is very much alive and well, and this is one unmissable show.
What's On Sunday 15 March:
Off License x Si Paradiso Takeover
Combine two of Perth’s most exciting chefs, a heaving kitchen and a very hungry crowd, and you’ve got a pretty ideal Sunday setup. Si Paradiso’s Larissa Goncalves is handing over the reins of Drew Dawson’s Off License for a one-day-only pop-up at the Highgate hotspot, marking the roaming dining concept’s most ambitious outing yet. On the cards: a freewheeling, snack-led lineup playing to Si’s love of small plates, with a few larger dishes drifting through the mix and courtyard grazing encouraged (yes, Si’s cult pizzas included). This is just a cheeky taste of Si Paradiso’s 2026 residency program, where local chefs will reimagine the space all year long. Buckle up, Si is only just getting started.
Great Southern Wine Region at The Corner Dairy
Forget the road trip, the Corner Dairy is bringing the Great Southern to you. 10 top-notch producers are setting up shop this Sunday at the Doubleview bar for an afternoon of sipping, swirling and saluting to WA’s famed wine region. Your ticket unlocks 35+ wine tastings, plus a little grazing to keep things sensible while you chat tannins and terroir with the winemakers themselves. Who’s thirsty?!
Forever 18 Mini-Fest at Clancy’s Fish Pub
This Sunday, Clancy’s Freo is putting on a feel-good night of live tunes for a seriously important cause. Raising much-needed funds for Amby’s Army and their work in youth suicide prevention, expect a genre-jumping lineup of local artists including pop-country powerhouse Emily Joy, soul and blues belter Sgt Hulk, folk-rock favs Shanks Pony and rising electronic queen HDC. It’s all happening in honour of Amberly Lynch, a young musician whose spirit for bringing people together lives on through nights like this.
All Weekend:
Mandurah Crab Fest at The Pen Mandurah
Consider all your crustacean cravings covered at The Pen this weekend. Crab Fest is clawing its way back to Mandurah, and the beloved waterfront pub right in the thick of the shell-cracking action. Swing by for seafood specials (helllooooo crab tacos and crab cakes) live music rolling all day and night, front-row views to Saturday night’s fireworks over the foreshore.
IWD at Si Paradiso
Our favourite haunt in Highgate is raising a glass to International Women’s Day with a month-long drink special well worth toasting. The bespoke Safe x Sound cocktail—a refreshing apple-infused vodka number with citrus, a splash of Midori and lemonade—will be shaking things up all March long, with $1 from every pour donated to We Are W/N, a local not-for-profit helping people to have healthy consensual relationships.
21st Annual Sculpture By The Sea at Cottesloe Beach
After a 2025 hiatus, the beach is about to get sprinkled with 70 mind-blowing, gravity-defying, thought-provoking sculptures from WA and around the world, turning the famous sand, sea and sky of Cottesloe Beach into our very own open-air gallery. Grab your sunnies, slip on your walking shoes, and wander among works that will make you stop, stare, laugh, scratch your head and do a double-take. Free to roam, endlessly photogenic and packed with surprises at every turn, it all kicks off this Friday at Cott.
