While we usually love a long weekend, and all the extra dining and wining out opportunities it presents, 26 January is a complex day for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and here at Urban List, we believe it is not a date to celebrate.

If you want some ideas for what you can do on the day to support First Nations people, head here, but if you are taking the day off we've rounded up a list of places across Perth that are choosing to stay open as usual. Here's what's open this January long weekend in Perth.
