Easter weekend is upon us which means we can consume a questionable amount of hot cross buns and chocolates, judgement free. Sweets and goodies aren’t the only thing that awaits on this four-day weekend. There’s gonna be a whole lot of events and fairs to keep us all entertained, so here’s a little list of things to do in Auckland this Easter Weekend!

Lego isn’t the only thing Auckland Art Museum have in store for us. Let Me Be Myself – The Life Story of Anne Frank is an exhibition that showcases the way Anne Frank and her family lived their lives and their experiences during the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany. We are aware it’s on a more serious note than the usual Easter event like hunting for chocolate eggs but this exhibition is special and deserved a mention. Auckland Museum is the first to host the exhibition in New Zealand and has been running since February but won’t continue for much longer. Use this long Easter weekend as an opportunity to get educated!
