New Year’s Eve Party | 8th Ave. Terrace
If you’re after a dinner party-vibing event to celebrate the end of 2016, look what Palm Beach’s 8th Ave. Terrace has planned. Easily one of our fave new restaurants on the Gold Coast, 8th Ave. Terrace are selling just 150 tickets—which include gorgeous canapés from their talented kitchen, oysters, and a four-hour drinks package with Mumm champagne, cocktails, Stone & Wood beers, and select wines. Plus, they’ve got an extended license to 2am, party on! At $190 a pop, it’s not cheap, but hey, NYE only comes around once a year, so there goes that excuse.

New Year’s Eve Party | The Collective
If you’re craving a true-blue party—good drinks, good tunes, and good times—scoot Gold Coast’s hottest new addition, The Collective to the top of your list! We can’t wait to see this Palm Beach newbie filled with love and happy faces, and New Year’s Eve will be its first big bash. While they’ll be serving food and drinks throughout the day to anyone who wants to check out the new space, it’ll then be ticket holders only from 8pm. For $120 you’ll get four hours of beer, wine, and sparkling, plus substantial canapés from all five kitchens, live entertainment and DJs, and don’t forget—there’s a rooftop bar! Palmy sure knows how to pull a cool crew these days so we’re calling it now, this will be one of 2016’s best New Year’s Eve parties on the Gold Coast.

New Year’s Eve With Mama | Mamasan
One of the best restaurants in Broadbeach, we can always trust Mamasan to put the “classy” into a celebration and this NYE is no exception. There’s both an early and late offering on the table but, if it were us, we’d opt for the 8pm/8:30pm sittings. Why? Because the chefs are serving up six delectable shared courses instead of four, you’ll be handed a glass of Verve on arrival, there’ll be live DJs through until 1am, and you’ll get to “oooh” and “ahhhh” over fireworks at the end of the plaza.

New Year’s Eve Dinner | Bistro Franc
Bistro Franc is throwing an intimate six-course set dinner for a very reasonable $75 per head, right in the heart of Broadbeach. Sitting down at 7pm, sure it starts early, but we expect it’ll draw a chill crowd that you’ll wanna hang out with allll night. If you’ve dined with this wickedly talented family before, then you’ll know bookings are a must, and you should probs get in quick ‘cause these will get snapped up!

Boogie Nights New Year’s Eve | Stingray Lounge
If you think nothing is gonna get you in the New Year spirit, you’re wrong—because Stingray Lounge’s Boogie Nights party most definitely will. Head to this Surfers Paradise institution with your 70s safari suit, teased hair, or glittering hot pants, where your ticket buys you canapés, unlimited drinks, DJ entertainment, and a ridiculously naughty night out. Book your tickets now or risk crying into your vodka and Redbull on your couch come December 31.

Justin’s Rooftop Party | Justin Lane
What will undoubtedly be one of the most sought after tickets in town, Burleigh favourite Justin Lane is taking full advantage of their stunning open-air patio with a rooftop party. New Year’s Eve Night Markets | Miami Marketta
Another of our fave spots to get a little cray cray is pulling out the stops this NYE with NO cover charge. Which means more cash in your pocket for G&Ts, then more G&Ts, and then more G&Ts. All the fun starts at 4pm with Miami Marketta’s regular street food stalls (they’ll be cooking until 10pm) and then the entertainment steps it up a notch from 8:30pm when The Lyrical take the stage followed by Flyfingaz on the decks. As always it’s family friendly, and did we mention it was FREE ENTRY?!

New Year’s Eve Party | Hideaway Kitchen & Bar
For those that like things a little wild, we can pretty much vouch that Hideaway Kitchen & Bar will be going off the hook. Starting at 8pm, you’ll get to feast on Asian fusion canapés, sip on bubbly, wine, beer, and basics (drinks are included), and bust moves on the d-floor (you’ll make one, if you have to) with DJ Shwado on the decks ‘til the wee hours. NYE under the stars and those umbrellas? Heck yes!

Party people, mark this one down! Aloha Bar & Dining is throwing a Get Leid luau-themed event with super reasonably priced entry for one of the hottest New Year’s Eve parties on the Gold Coast. Heck yes! Doors open from 8pm ‘til 2am, meaning you can go for a respectable dinner somewhere, before landing yourself in the party zone. These guys know how to throw an epic shindig, so wear your comfy shoes and get ready for a night of sipping, shimmying, and pineapple-filled cocktails—c’mon there are always pineapples at Aloha!
