Yeah, yeah we hear ya’… It’s not even Christmas yet and here we are pumping you up for New Year’s Eve. But let us remind you that, last year, and probably the year prior, you promised yourself that THIS NYE you’d be more organised.

Come December 31, there’s no excuse for sitting on the couch ringing in the New Year with chamomile tea watching fireworks on the telly like the loser you most certainly are not!

So, to make sure this ‘eve doesn’t become another anticlimactic let down, we’re sorting you out with eight of the best New Year’s Eve parties on the Gold Coast.

Bonita Bonita and BonBon Bar

The loveable crew from Bonita Bonita and BonBon Bar are getting into the silly season spirit by throwing a cruise-ship-themed BonBon Voyage 2015 deck party. Bonita Bonita will host seated banquet dinner options, while next door at BonBon Bar they’re transforming the deck into a mini-cruise ship with canapés, tacos, inclusive drinks, games, a pop-up bar, and prizes for best dressed. So, whip out the captain hats and grass skirts—hello sailor!

$125 pp (8pm late dinner seating at Bonita Bonita) includes sharing banquet, and 2-hour drink package

Palazzo Versace

Sick beat drops and drunken escapades certainly aren’t for everyone. Those after a more civilized evening need look no further than Main Beach’s Palazzo Versace. Why not have a wee splurge to bid adieu to 2015, with a seafood buffet feast at Il Barocco, which includes drinks and access to the glitzy Bianco E Nero (Black and White) Ball in the lobby from 10pm. If this all sounds too much (or too little), check out Versace’s website for plenty of other options.

$345 pp (8pm—2am) includes seafood buffet, drink package, and access to Black and White Ball from 10pm
NYE dinner bookings also available in Versace’s other restaurants, more information available here

Where: 94 Seaworld Drive, Main Beach

Everyone loves a sultry masquerade bash so, this NYE, Isle of Capri’s Cicchetti pays reverence to their Venetian influences, promising to throw a party to remember (though let’s be honest, it’s more likely you won’t remember). Cicchetti’s swanky gala will feature Italian feasting stations, endless canapé service, and, at midnight, traditional homemade Panetone. To get you shimmying into 2016, there will be a live jazz band followed by a DJ pumping smooth beats. BYO seductive eye wear.

$149 pp (7:30pm till late) includes all food, with drinks on consumption
For bookings call 07 5526 8868

Where: Shop 2G01, Capri on Via Roma, Isle of Capri

White Party

Undoubtedly the biggest end-of-year event on the Gold Coast, and one for the fist-pumping 20-year-olds, White Party NYE 2015 is back with a vengeance. One thousand revellers dressed in white (surprise!) will be whisked from Marina Mirage to a “top secret island location” where they’ll be entertained from dusk ‘til dawn by a string of street performers and top DJ acts. If this doesn’t guarantee seeing in the first day or two of 2016 with a banging hangover, nothing will.

$149—$199 pp + booking fee, boats depart at 7pm and 9:30pm

One 50 Public House

For northern Gold Coasters not wanting to stray too far from home, One 50 Public House is calling for a room full of James Bonds and Pussy Galores for their NYE 007 festivities. Expect thumping DJ tunes, blackjack tables, roulette, and, for the frisky, body painting (which will no doubt get interesting when a few too many Vesper martinis have been consumed).

$95 pp includes canapés and 3-hour drink package (inclusive drinks served 8 —11pm)
