Holy hell, it's April! Celebrate the start of the month with some epic food noms, some singles yoga, by getting your geek on, with some horsies, or with some puppies.

Got no idea what we’re talking about? Check out these 10 epic things we have for you to do this weekend.

Friday 1 April

This little art treat will wow your eyeballs until the 17th April. Now is the perfect opportunity to whip out that secret Xena Warrior Princess costume you’ve been hoarding all these years because Oz Comic Con is baaaccckkkkk! In a place where it is totally acceptable to be a geek freak and sci-fi nerd, Saturday is your time to strut your stuff. There will be a brand new anime station, a gaming zone, a family room for the mini geeks and even after hours parties. As the famous Missy Eliot once said, ‘Getcha’ freak onnnn’.

Have you ever wanted to just crawl up in a ball, sit in a cocoon hanging from a tree and just kind of float in the breeze? WELL NOW YOU CAN! Down at the Claremont Town Centre this weekend there will be ‘cocoon nests’ hanging from trees that you can just sit and relax in. They are designed to promote mobility, sustainability and self-discovery all while allowing people to engage with the environment around them. Plus they look really friggin cool. We’re there.
