POLONY—HORSE ON TOAST AND MIN PIN | NORTHBRIDGE

Polony—the questionable lunch meat of everyone’s childhood—has become a major influence on this art exhibition by two original Perth babies. The ‘mushing together’ of Amy and Penelope’s unusually similar lives and crazy friendship has become the focus of this show where they re-visit the nostalgia of their childhood.

HATCHED | NORTHBRIDGE

Featuring Australia’s up and coming generation of emerging artists, the opening night for this national graduate show happens tomorrow when graduates from 23 art schools and universities around the country will be showing you what they’re made of! Accompanied by live entertainment, party vibes, food trucks and probably a large amount of man-buns, this is the perfect way to kick off your weekend.

The cider lords at Core Cider House will be hosting an amazing long table lunch on Saturday afternoon and we are excited. You’ll be given an exclusive behind the scenes tour with the cider maker while sampling their produce along the way and then afterwards, they’ll be treating you to a delicious lunch by Simply Paella, perfectly paired with wine and live entertainment by Kirsty Hulka. You don’t want to miss this one.

The freakshakes at Cafe 2TwentyFour are beyond ridiculous and now the crew here will be hosting a Human vs Milkshake Challenge to really test the limits of your stomach capacity. This 3.7L Golden Gaytime Freakshake needs to be devoured in 3 minutes or less for your chance to win. AUDI ART BALL | PERTH

An event where the worlds of art, fashion and music collide, the Audi Art Ball is bigger than ever this year with the number 1 fashion bible, Vogue Australia co-presenting the event. MILLION PAWS WALK | SOUTH PERTH

FURBABIES UNITE! The Million Paws Walk is back! Make sure you register and grab tickets online before Sunday and then head down to Sir James Mitchell Park in South Perth with you pup. You’ll probably find us laying in the middle of the park surrounded by dogs… heaven.

YOGA AT THE QUAY | PERTH

Calling all yogi bears! Head down to Lizzie Quay on Sunday morning for some relaxation and yoga to raise money for Engineers Without Borders. If you’ve got no idea what they do, they help water sanitation, energy and housing initiatives in Australia and Asia. All funds raised will go to encouraging sustainable development, poverty and social change. BYO yoga mats peeps!
