Here are 5 awesome things to do in Perth this week.
Monday 24 July
The Art of Crosshatch; The Original Hash tag At City Arts Space Northbridge
Get inspired with crosshatching, the art of drawing thousands upon thousands of intersecting lines to form some seriously creative pieces. Simon Page has used watercolour, ink and nautical vibes to recreate the infamous voyage of 19th century adventurer James Baird. Pay it a visit from Monday through to Wednesday from 10am-4pm. Get the deets here.
Tuesday 25 July
Asgeir At Astor Theatre
Our fave Icelandic singer-songwriter is finally returning to our shores! The silky smooth tunes of this multi-instrumentalist will make for an intimate gig. Showing off his new album Afterglow, we are also looking forward to grooving to oldies like Kings Cross. Get all the details here.
Wednesday 26 July
Black Vanilla Winter Feast At Lalla Rookh
Get your friends together for the winter launch of “Black Vanilla”, an imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels. Enjoy beers from Eagle Bay Brewing Co and handcrafted whiskey by Whipper Snapper Distillery. Drinks will be matched with four finger-licking courses from Lalla Rookh. Places are limited so find all the booking details here.
Thursday 27 July
Inner Beat Silent Yoga At Netball Australia
Our friends at Green Goodness Co have teamed up with Fearless Activewear to present the ultimate girls night. Hear an inspirational talk from 92.9’s Heidi Anderson, then find some flow with yogi queen Ryhanna and top the night off by dancing to a live DJ and singing your heart out at the silent disco (who doesn’t love a silent disco?) All proceeds go to The Butterfly Foundation to raise awareness and support people with eating disorders and body image issues. Grab tix here.
Hidden Treasures At Fremantle
It’s the final week of Freo’s unique music series. Hop on the music tram, grab your $20 ticket and venture to six different venues around the place to hear a mix of ripe new bands and old faves including Rag N’ Bone, Grace Sanders and COLAB. Get all the details here.
