The Popular Food Truck Dedicated To Burrata Has Just Opened New Permanent Digs In Northbridge

By

Say hello to the big cheese. Seriously, that’s not an exaggeration—remember Burrata Bar from the Subi Night Markets? Well, now you can get your hands on the good stuff seven days a week, because they’ve just set up shop permanently in Northbridge.

Oh how we could write a three-page love letter about burrata. The delightfully delicious ball of soft Italian cheese, consisting of a juicy outer layer of mozzarella that, when sliced open, reveals a fresh, creamy cheese curd that’s as smooth as butter.

Burrata Bar is dishing up all the good stuff you’ve been craving. From the brains behind La Mortazza—the beloved and family-owned Italian sandwich bar—this place knows what the foodies are after, and oh boy, are they delivering. Spoiler alert: it’s burrata, and then some more burrata after that.

The menu ticks all the boxes when it comes to indulgence. Think tempting gnocchi bowls topped with a burrata ball, or opt for fresh, pillowy focaccia sandwiches. You can also try their iconic (and very decadent) burrata bowls packed with different toppings. We’re eyeing up the Delicioza, topped off with tomato, rocket, and aromatic pesto for a 10/10 feed. Then wash it all down with espresso slushies

Some insider intel for you: if you ask for the ‘special’, you’ll score a deep fried burrata wrapped in dough.

They’re slinging the plump, cheesy goodness from from every day of the week, plus late on Fridays and Saturdays to satisfy all those late night burrata cravings. Go on, give it a whirl.
