Jaw-dropping swimming beaches and easy access to all the good stuff Margaret River's food and wine region has to offer make Busselton a beaut spot for a cruisy weekend away.
Pack the car, queue the road trip playlist and brace yourself for the arbitrary pitstop at Bunbury's Farmers Market—we've lined up some stellar Busselton Airbnbs to inspire your next escape.
Beachside 880
We can already picture sunset drinks and BBQs on the balcony at Beachside 880. It's directly across from the beach so you'll get uninterrupted views over Geographe Bay whether you're chilling outside or lounging on the large couch inside under the aircon. It doesn't hurt that the rest of this two bedroom apartment is luxe throughout and walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants too.
100 Year Old Cottage
This 100 Year Old Cottage may look deceptively simple from the outside, but we're kinda obsessed with the old-school charm and laidback surf shack vibes. It's perfectly located between the main strip and Busselton Jetty and has a cute backyard to hang out in after a day at the beach. Sleeping six, we reckon it's great for a summer getaway with mates.
Beachgrove
If you've ever fancied a stay in an English-style country estate straight outta the Victorian era, Beachgrove is a must. The four bedroom heritage house is situated on beautifully manicured grounds with well maintained lawns, gardens galore, a shaded gazebo for afternoon tea (or sunset cocktails), an ivy greenhouse and large outdoor chess board if you wanna give the queen's gambit a whirl. Indoors, every room is furnished in true period fashion, so we suggest you pack your best Bridgerton looks to match.
The Bach
This unique Airbnb is a designer's delight, with large soaring windows that allow views of the surrounding peppermint trees to sneak inside along with loads of natural light, exposed timber beams and recycled jarrah from the lot's old cottage. There's a cool art-filled lounge area and relaxed courtyard space to hang out in, but you'll likely find us hiding out in the beautiful bath.
Santa Fe Style Apartment
So turns out just because borders are open, doesn't mean we can all afford the $2k+ flight over to Europe. At least we can pretend we're smashing sangria in Spain at this terracotta-hued Santa Fe Style Apartment. It's located a little further south of the main strip, about 10 minutes to both Busselton and Dunsborough, but we reckon this just opens up more epic spots to eat and drink. The vibrant home is also only a 400m stroll from the beach.
Bayside Luxury Escape
Sitting pretty between the beach and one of our favourite little towns is Bayside Luxury Escape. The outdoor entertaining area calls for getting a group together to get out and explore everything this gem has to offer.
Busselton Beachside Beauty
Looking at this beachside beauty has us dreaming of morning walks on the jetty, long coffees and sleepy afternoons. Impeccably styled and in the heart of Busso, this one had to make our list.
Dolphin House
Sitting smack bang on the pristine waters of Port Geographe is Dolphin House, a grand two-storey home with views for days. And it’s called Dolphin House for a reason, which you’ve probably guessed already: dolphins play in the waters right in front of you. Take a seat on the serene balcony or head out to the jetty to catch some fresh crabs for dinner. It hosts up to six guests, and it’s just a short drive from central Busselton.
7th Heaven
This one is pretty luxe, so be prepared for a very serene and glamorous vibe from the moment you step through the door. 7th Heaven is just a six minute walk from the Busselton beaches, and with four gorgeous bedrooms, it’s perfect for groups looking for a lovely getaway down south. Make the most of the stunning outdoor area with the built-in BBQ.
Casablanca
This stunning holiday house sleeps up to ten and boasts incredible views of the Busselton Jetty and bay. You can sit back and relax by the pool or get out with canoes, bodyboards and fishing lines before settling back in for a night of stargazing to the sound of the ocean.
