There’s no doubt that Coronavirus has us all shook, but before you go stockpiling minced meat and eggs (seriously, please stop), it’s important to take a moment to think about not just ourselves but people and businesses that will be affected by mass closures and cancellations.
It’s important to us that all of Perth’s restaurants and cafes know that we're on their side. Right now is a pretty worrying time to be a small restaurant, cafe or bar in Perth, so we’ll continue to champion the independent businesses across town in any way we can—whether that means sitting five feet away from the nearest fellow diner, buying up all the gift cards we can or switching to taking away and paying only by card.
Uber Eats and Deliveroo are both launching contact free delivery, but keep in mind that they take a pretty decent chunk of income from the restaurant, so if you're not in total lockdown please consider ordering directly from the restaurant and picking it up yourself; it makes a huge difference to them.
Whether you want fine dining or just your favourite local spot in the isolation of your lounge room, here’s who to call (after sanitising your phone).
