Subi Spritz Returns With Four Days of Fizz, Food And Fun In Subiaco
At some point over the last few decades, spritz season quietly stretched itself into a 365-day state of mind. Here in Perth/Boorloo, the bright-hued, bittersweet classic doesn’t just show up for summer—it rules all year round. And we’re not just talking Aperol. Since it first appeared on a cocktail list, we've wandered far and wide through the wonderful world of spritzes: limoncello, Campari, Hugo, blood orange, elderflower and just about every citrus-adjacent variation imaginable. If it fizzes, glows in golden hour light and looks good in a wine glass, we’re drinking it.
Which is exactly why Subiaco is once again leaning all the way in with the grand return of Subi Spritz. From March 26–29, the leafy inner-city suburb will transform into four days of fizz, food and fun, with more than 20 events designed to celebrate the spritz in all its sparkling glory.
With a jam-packed schedule of masterclasses, alfresco feasts, disco mornings, spritz-fuelled competitions and sunset aperitivos, there’s a little something for every spritz-lover (and for those who just enjoy the excuse to sip, snack, swirl, and dance). Here's the events you'll find us at this March.
Conti Roll Contest
The battle of the bread rolls is back, baby! Once again, four self-proclaimed conti connoisseurs will go head to head, with the public and a panel deciding who is the Conti Roll Champion after sampling all four sangas. Will the winner be a familiar face from last year’s showdown competing to defend their title? Or will a new conti conqueror be crowned? Only one conti can rule them all.
