Another week, another bunch of epic events courtesy of our fave city. This week is all about balance guys, so that means you’ll learn how to feed yourself for #peakhealth, then undo all of the good with burgers and booze. Now that we think of it, that sums us up pretty damn well.
Strap in team because here are five of our favourite things to do in Sydney this week.
Monday 4 September
Whisky Masterclass At The Village Inn
Maybe you’re already a complete whisky aficionado, buuuut maybe you’re not and that’s where this comes in. It’ll be hosted at The Village Inn by whisky legend (it’s a thing) Dan Woolley and you’ll leave here full of whisky, salumi and more whisky facts than you know what to do with. Book here.
When: Monday 4 September, 6pm - 8pm
Where: The Village Inn, Paddington
Tuesday 5 September
Food Frustrations With Libby Weaver
Kicking off down south before heading back up to see you lovely humans in Sydney (on Wednesday 20 September), Libby Weaver is tackling the big issues with her latest tour, Food Frustrations. We’ve all been there and speaking as people who’ve seen her speak before, you’ll leave this one inspired to eat well and most likely with a few new books tucked away in your bag. You’ve been warned, this one will be great. Book here.
When: Tuesday 5 September, 7pm - 9pm
Where: University of Camberra
Cost: $39.95 ($45 at the door)
Wednesday 6 September
The Dirty Disco Burger Bar
We’re going to keep this one brief because you’ll want to run, not walk to this one. Little Disco Bistro is launching at Spring Street Social this Wednesday and you better believe this dirty disco burger bar (their words, not ours) will be back every single Wednesday. There’ll be burgers, beers, DJs playing until late and a couple of paired cocktails. Head here for the details and to book your spot STAT.
When:Wednesday 6 September, 8pm - 10pm
Where: Spring Street Social, Bondi Junction
Cost: $15 burger and beer deal
Annandale Pale Pub Crawl
If there’s one thing the inner west knows how to do, it’s be nice humans while jumping between legit pubs and drinking more than a few along the way. This pub crawl is a little bit special because it’s all to celebrate the Wayward crew and their brand new brew (see what we did there?). It’ll be brewer’s shout at four Annandale locals for one hour only, so you’ll want to check out this event page and plan accordingly.
When: Wednesday 6 September
Margaret River 50th Anniversary Dinner
The Margaret River is taking it to the east coast this week, taking over the kitchen at Bentley Restaurant & Bar for one night only. Expect the best from the region’s most premium wineries paired with a five-course meal that’ll be delicious from the first drop of wine to the last bite of dessert. Book your spot here guys.
When: Wednesday 6 September
Where: Bentley Restaurant & Bar
Cost: $220 per person, (five courses and 11 matched wines).
The Reuben Hills team are opening a hotel and we know you care.
