Well, here we are again Sydney. With lockdown extended and no clear end date in sight—not to mention some of Sydney's toughest lockdown restricitons yet—it is without a doubt, really tough out there right now. And it's especially tough for Sydney's hospitality scene.
While you can order takeaway via delivery platforms like Uber Eats and Deliveroo, keep in mind that these apps take a decent chunk of income from restaurants, so, if you're not required to isolate at home, please consider ordering directly from the restaurant and picking it up yourself; it makes a huge difference to them.
Here, we've listed out some of the epic restaurants, cafes, and bars around Sydney currently offering takeaway during lockdown. We will be updating this list regularly for the duration of lockdown.
This is by no means a definitive list, and we encourage you to check in on your local faves' socials, try somewhere new, and take a peep through some of the comments on this post on Urban List Sydney's Instagram for even more ideas.
If you would like to be included in this list, or know of a great takeaway option, please get in touch with our editor here.
