Whoever said Monday is the new Sunday (we’ll admit that was probably us) was totally right. This week take your belly on a journey to the Middle East, laugh yourself silly with some top notch comedy, and top it all off with a vodka martini. If that’s not enough to keep you entertained, then we can’t really help you—you did hear the part about vodka martinis, right?
Here are 5 awesome things to do in Sydney this week.
Icebergs x Pranzo Classico
Icebergs Dining Room and Bar is known for its exceptional view and its sustainable produce. Maurice Terzini and chef Monty Koludrovic are inviting us all ‘round for the classic mid-week lunch. Freshly shucked oysters with a red wine and black pepper vinaigrette followed by a 200g Signature Olsson’s Salt-crusted boneless rib eye with rocket and mustard are exactly the kind of dishes you’ll be wrapping your laughing gear around. With Pacific Oysters from Coffin Bay in South Australia, and premium QLD Black Angus rib eye, you know you’re in good company. For more deets, head here.

National Martini Day
Did someone say National Martini Day? We’ve had this unofficial national holiday marked in our diaries since Christmas. It’s the second most important holiday, after national wine day, (which was last month, btw). If you missed out on those festivities, or just want an excuse to drink alllll the martinis, be sure to clink a glass in celebration of the heavenly combination that is vodka and olives. Even if you aren’t a martini enthusiast, there are endless variations on the classic for you to try. The Royal Paddington Hotel is serving up an elderflower and lychee pairing and if you can’t go past an espresso martini; KOI dessert bar has their ‘gotta have espresso tini’ just waiting for you. But if you just want something pretty and pleasing to the palette, Bar Machiavelli offers their traditional, classic martini.

All You Can Eat Cheese Tuesdays
What does cheese say when it looks in the mirror? HALLOUMI! If you’ve ever dreamed of gorging on Gorgonzola, Camembert, and Edam (the list goes on), then all your wildest, cheesiest dreams are about to Brie-come a reality. Every Tuesday you can up your dairy consumption and feast upon as much cheese as your lactose intolerance will let you (because let’s be real, ain’t nobody missing out on cheese). And it gets feta (sorry, we couldn’t help ourselves)—the price includes a charcuterie board to balance out all that creamy cheesy deliciousness.
