Wentworth Bar

Wentworth Bar is a CBD rooftop bar at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, flanked by the iconic building’s unique curved form.

“It’s the kind of bar you’d seek out in any major city—DJ playing, great cocktails, and the buzz of a city rooftop bar but spread across a spacious 495-square-metre all-weather outdoor terrace,” says Jason Williams, House Made Hospitality director.

The massive open-air bar with room for 250 guests spreads across indoor and outdoor spaces, with a glass and copper canopy to protect from the elements, black and white terrazzo tables, green tones and plant-scaping, and a range of seating.

The drinks list is all about vibrant, global flavours with over 45 types of agave spirits, a Champagne selection spanning grower picks and major houses, and 18 wines by the glass. Cocktail picks include the Slipper-Y When Wet with Los Arcos tequila, yuzucello, Midori, fresh lime and Vietnamese mint, and large-format group cocktails, serving up to 12 and finished at the table.

Wentworth Bar’s food menu offers bar snacks, light meals, and substantial plates following the modern Vietnamese flavours of neighbouring restaurant Delta Rue, with oyster mushroom spring rolls, a barramundi curry and noodle salads on offer alongside a house smashburger with fries and sate mayo.

Wentworth Bar joins House Made Hospitality’s three other venues in the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth (Delta Rue, tilda and bar tilda) plus nearby spots in Hinchcliff House, Martinez, and Promenade Bondi Beach.
