Forks at the ready because Festa Italiana is returning to Howard Smith Wharves for two delicious weekends in June—celebrating Italian culture and cuisine. Featuring an incredible culinary lineup led by Orazio D’Elia, Carmine Guarino, and Dean Anning, the Main Lawn will play host to an unforgettable Italian feast, from the lively grill station serving up succulent chicken rolls and porchetta-stuffed focaccia to the much-loved pasta dishes (which includes D’Elia’s spicy rigatoni alla vodka). There’ll also be Roman-style pizzas served by the slice, and you can wash it all down with a tipple from the Spritz Bar or Felons Brewing Co’s Italian Lager brewed exclusively for the festival.

Ciao Papi Garden will be transformed into a vibrant escape taking cues from the coastal charm of Southern Italy with its own dedicated Aperol Spritz Bar. Or, book a seat inside the restaurant to indulge in a special set menu for Festa Italiana with the likes of creamy stracciatella with grilled leeks and rich rigatoni alla amatriciana tossed with chilli and pancetta.
