Rooftop New Year’s Eve At The Island

Enchanted Forest New Year’s Eve Party At Etsu Izakaya

If there were ever a place to be locked away inside with no view of the stars on New Year’s Eve, it’d be at Etsu Izakaya. We cannot get enough of this place and the effortlessly cool crew who make it so damn awesome. Sparkle into 2018 at Etsu’s Enchanted Forest NYE party, complete with cherry blossoms, fairies and kimono-clad staff. This Surfers Paradise institution is transforming into a New York-style loft party so come dressed in your most glamorous get-up. If you’re fiercely local with no intentions of braving the crowds of Broadbeach and Surfers to ring in the New Year, good thing your go-to for a good time, The Cambus Wallace, is stocking up on the rum and whisky bottles in preparation for December 31. For those that like things a little wild, we can pretty much vouch that Hideaway Kitchen & Bar will be going off the hook. Starting at 8pm, you’ll get to feast on Asian fusion canapés; sip on three hours of included bubbles, wine, beer and basics; and bust moves on the d-floor (you’ll make one, if you have to) with DJ Shwado on the decks ‘til the wee hours. One of the best new bars in Broadbeach, we’re trusting The Roosevelt Lounge will put the ‘high class’ into NYE 2017. Now, make no mistakes, you’ll need a fat wallet or a sugar daddy if you really wanna go all out here. For $100-$200, depending on your seat of choice, you’ll enjoy stunning canapés plus Dom Perignon on arrival AND at midnight. Or the most luxe NYE package on the Coast—splash $2,500 to $5,00 minimum spend (eight and twelve people max respectively) for Roosevelt’s exclusive booths (complete with generous four-hour drinks package, bottles of Dom, gourmet canapés all night and table service), this will be one helluva intimate and hopping soiree when the ball drops at midnight.
