NYE Dinner And Dance At Nineteen At The Star

If you’re ready to spoil yourself silly at the most high-rollin’ New Year’s Eve party on the Gold Coast, frock up and secure your spot at Nineteen at The Star’s soiree. Ring in a new decade in one of the city’s most lauded venues, located 19 floors up with views over the glitter strip and fireworks. A Dreamy New Year’s Eve 2020 At The Island

Sparklers at the ready, The Island’s pulling all the stops for this year’s dazzling New Year’s Eve bonanza. Seriously, we’re putting this one down as one of the best New Year’s Eve parties on the Gold Coast. Spilling from six spaces across three levels, choose from two exceptional packages. NYE Underwater Wonderland With The YOT Club

If you’re yet to step aboard the world’s first super yacht entertainment venue, you’re not alone. The YOT Club fits a strict 400 people, so party applications are absolutely essential. This will go down as the most exclusive New Year’s Eve on the Gold Coast and you’ll need to register your interest to receive first release ticket information. Dress in white and pace yourself, with five hours filled with premium roaming canapes, epic DJs, dancing and beautiful people galore.

Glitter NYE Party At The Pink Flamingo Spiegelclub

Adding a cheeky dash of dazzle to the Gold Coast’s New Year’s Eve celebrations is the Glitter NYE Party at The Pink Flamingo Spiegelclub in Broadbeach. For $158 per person, partygoers are invited to indulge in the incredible show SUAVÉ, along with pre-show canapes served by The Collective Catering, beverage on arrival and after-party experience that’s sure to add some sparkle to 2020. Following the show, Glitter guests will enjoy complimentary access to the unadulterated after-show party where festivities will ensue into the wee hours of the morning. For those keen to join the late-night Glitter NYE Party from 9.00pm, tickets range from just $18 per person for entry up to $150 per person for full VIP booth and bottle service.

NYE Featuring Nina Las Vegas At Burleigh Pavilion

Dipping your toes in the ocean on New Year’s Eve is a tradition for many, so kicking off your NYE celebrations at Burleigh Pavilion is the perfect place to start. Ring in the twenties in epic style with help from homegrown music talent and festival favourite, DJ Nina Las Vegas. Your $35 entry includes a pizza to line your stomach, then order whatever tipple takes your fancy at the bar and prepare to party the night away with a jovial crowd. And the view? Priceless.

New Year’s Eve Feast At Yamagen

For the party animal slash foodie who’d rather not make decisions, Yamagen’s glamourous omakase menu means the chef chooses his top picks on your behalf. Indulge in decadent scallop and ocean trout tian with caviar and avocado or graze around classics like lamb cutlet robata with chives. This Gold Coast New Year’s Eve party at Yamagen includes Veuve Clicquot on arrival, though we recommend upgrading to the premium package which includes entry to Stingray’s All That Glitters NYE Party afterwards, where sake, whisky and cocktails flow freely until 2am.

A Swish New Year’s Eve Dinner At Miss Moneypenny’s 

When New Year’s Eve rolls around and you’re the type who likes to try somewhere new, you’ll love a relaxed dinner at Broadbeach’s impressive restaurant and bar, Miss Moneypenny’s. Set to celebrate its very first New Year’s Eve event, Miss Moneypenny’s will be offering two seatings of globally inspired Mediterranean eats crafted by Head Chef Braden White. Get comfortable in the beautifully styled dining room, then kick back and enjoy food paired with flowing cocktails and live DJs. And what’s New Year’s Eve on the Gold Coast without fireworks? Located a few blocks back from Broadbeach, get in the party mood with help from the Kurrawa Beach Fireworks at 8pm and midnight.

80’s New Year’s Eve Party At Etsu Izakaya

If there were ever a place to be locked away inside with no view of the stars on New Year’s Eve on the Gold Coast, it would be at Etsu Izakaya. We cannot get enough of this place and the cool crew who make it so damn awesome. Sparkle into 2020 at Etsu’s 80’s discotheque party complete with classic tunes, slinkies, giant Rubik’s cubes, cassette tapes, polaroids, coloured party lights and lots of 80’s fashion. Stretching all the way from 8pm until 1am, your ticket includes a seven-course degustation menu created by Head Chef Damien Styles just for the night, bubbles or beer on arrival and a live DJ spinning bootie-shaking classics. For families who want to catch the 8pm fireworks, they’ve got an early dinner sitting with the regular a la carte menu from 5pm to 7:30pm, too.

New Year’s Eve At White Rhino

It were if Amy Shark, a liquor waterfall and a canape party had a baby. Join White Rhino for their New Year’s Eve spectacular featuring entertainment from Amy Shark’s drummer, delicious roving canapes and an adorable GIF Photobooth to relive the night again and again. The real showstopper is White Rhino’s four-hour drink package including spirits, bubbly, wine and beers.

80’s Night At SkyPoint

This year, SkyPoint is hosting a rad 80’s-themed New Year’s Eve party above the city. Dust off the leg warmers, slap on your brightest sweat band and brush up on signature 80s moves, then lap up ocean, city and star-filled skies all from the one fancy locale. Kicking off from 7:30pm and running through until 1am, you’ll receive complimentary entry to the 77th floor observation deck, a 4.5-hour beer, wine and sparkling drinks package, as well as two hours to nibble canapes. We’re picking the Sloppy Joe slider and 80s grazing stations to be a crowd fave.

It’s a well-known fact that drinks taste better when consumed on a rooftop, ensuring Justin Lane will be the perfect spot for one last hurrah in 2019. Their New Year’s Eve bash is a casual come-as-you-are affair, with DJs spinning tunes all day, wood-fired pizzas and following cocktails to order and beautiful people galore.

If when you think of The Henchman you only think acai bowls and coffee, you’ll be interested to know this new addition to Miami also converts to a vibing events space. Watch those festoon lights come to life and join a jovial local crew at their first ever end-of-year bash. This New Year’s Eve on the Gold Coast, The Henchman will be getting fruity in the garden with live entertainment, pop-up bars and more. Loud party shirts essential.

A Glamorous Affair At Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort

Ready for one last glow up before the end of 2019? We’ve found your place. Decking out the ballroom for a dazzler of a night, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort is dishing out a sumptuous seafood buffet of fresh prawns, oysters, maki rolls and steamed crab, for starters. Sip your way around a generous beverage package, kick back to entertainment and watch fireworks displays in awe at 8pm and midnight. While the Grand Ballroom event is adults only, should you have kids in tow, you can ditch the babysitter because they’ll be treated to their own Kid’s Club NYE fiesta.

If you’re already pre-empting blowing the Christmas budget ahead of New Year’s Eve, Neon Palms at Aviary Rooftop Bar is your penny pinching friend. At a neat $20 entry, northern Gold Coasters are already flocking to this event. If not for the DJs, then certainly for the 180-degree views of fireworks from the rooftop. Hawaiian New Year’s Eve At Nobby’s Surf Club

Nothing says New Year’s Eve on the Gold Coast quite like a Hawaiian-themed shindig at the local, and thankfully Nobby’s Surf Club is throwing one hell of a party.
