Ah yes, it’s one of those glorious short weeks. If you’re lucky enough to have Friday off and have an extra long weekend coming up then well done to you, but you’re going to need some great things to do until that point.

Here are 5 awesome things to do in Melbourne this week to keep you occupied until Australia Day.

All Week

FREE SLIDERS AT THE #LOVEHELLMANNS BURGER FOOD TRUCK

That’s right—FREE. Hellmann’s have teamed up with Hayden Quinn to create some magnificent burger creations like the classic cheeseburger, and a Japanese crispy calamari with slaw and yuzu kosho mayonnaise. They’ll be slinging these magnificent creations from their food truck on the following dates.
Monday, January 23 – Westfield Knox (outside Village Cinemas)
Tuesday, January 24 – Riverside Plaza, 452 Flinders Street, Melbourne
Wednesday, January 25 – St Pauls Square, Federation Square

The Art Of Banksy

With only a week left of this amazing exhibition, you better get in fast. Open from 10am-8pm daily in The Paddock at Federation Square, you’ll be able to feast your eyes on more than 80 works from the man himself. Check out all the details here.

Mr Punch’s Summertime Pantomime

Here’s one to keep the kids entertained before they head back to school. Mr Punch is bringing all his mates together like Officer Plod, Crock-o-doggy and Butsco, it will be a great time for the whole family. Bookings are available here.

Australia Day Special At Thursday Comedy Club

In the need of a good tickling of your funny bone? Then the Thursday Comedy Club can take care of that for you. Putting together some of the best local and interstate comedians for a special even on Australia Day will have you rolling on the floor. Tickets are just $12 at the door. More info here.

Australia Day Tours At Melbourne Town Hall

If you’ve ever wanted to see inside Melbourne’s grand 19th-century town hall then Australia Day is your chance. Tours kick off at noon and head off each hour until 3pm. You’ll need to book online, which you can do right here.
