The Dapper Guide to Vertical Melbourne
One for the gents, the Dapper Guide to Vertical Melbourne is being held as part of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. The walking tour will be led by a knowledgeable local guide, who will introduce his dapper charges to some of Melbourne’s finest retailers, makers and designers, many of which are hidden away from ground level in Melbourne’s CBD. Visiting makers and retails such as Lord Coconut, Mattt Bags, Laphroaig and Carl Nave is sure to make for an enlightening wander through some of the City’s lesser known delights. Food will be provided and the event is free, however attendees must register here
Many Hands Gallery Opening
Awesome Melbourne creative collective, Many Hands hosts its launch event in Collingwood coffee hot-spot Allpress this Wednesday night. For one night only, the Melbourne cafe is being transformed into an art gallery, showcasing works by some of Australia’s hottest creative talent including photographer Prue Stent and artist Maurice Golotta. 50% of the night’s proceeds will goe to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre to help those in need. Wine Compass Meet The Makers
Infinitely experienced in hosted wine tours (and ensuring you have a cracker of a day!) Wine Compass is hosting a ‘Meet the Makers’ event this weekend. A curated tour of well known and knowledgeable winemakers on the Mornington Peninsula, the tour will drop in at Quealy Winemakers, Tucks Ridgea and Darling Park with a stop at red Hill Epicurean for a two course lunch. It’s sure to be a day of quality wines, delicious food and many laughs. Book here

Flavour Exchange and Vic 100 Wine Awards
Flavour Exchange and VIC 100 Wine Awards have joined forces to bring you an epic weekend of night market wining and dining. Held in Fed Square, the Spring Flavour Exchange will showcase a huge range of premium Victorian produce – everything from cheese to super fresh, easy-to-cook meals — this Thursday and Friday evening. On Saturday, the VIC 100 Wine Awards will be bringing the wine and cheese, along with some awesome masterclasses, so no complaints there. And if you had any concerns that there wouldn’t be enough delicious food (asss iiiff) Pei Modern will be dishing out eats from their pop-up bistro. Grab tickets here.
Spit Roast Pork at Dr Morse
Everyone’s North Side Favourite, Dr Morse in Abbotsford has a treat for you this Sunday (and every Sunday in September). You’ll be able to get spit roasted pork served Bahn Mi Style for just ten bucks. Yuuuum! There’ll also be drinks specials, new beers on tap each week and DJs! Pork will be served from 1Pm and DJs will kick off at 2pm. Sunday sesh?
