Things To Do Perth

So Fringe is over and you might think your weeks are about to get a whole lot quieter but I’m here to tell you this isn’t all that likely. We all know Perth summer goes until April and it’s basically your duty as a good Perthian to be out and about enjoying the extended silly season. So whether your jam is good food, good drinks, relaxing music or intense plays, we’ve got something for you.

Here are 5 awesome things to do in Perth this week.

Nood Pop Up Shop At Cathedral Square And Cottesloe

I know you all love your fat feeds, but its pretty clear that everyone is just as excited about the health revolution going on about town. One of our favourite health nuts, Nikki Heyder is satisfying your cravings with two NOOD pop up shops. City-siders can head to Cathedral Square for some healthy noms, while the rest of you can get all the wholesomeness you’ll ever need at the Eric Street Shopping Centre in Cottesloe.  Check out NOOD’s Facebook page for more info.

No Guts, No Heart, No Glory At The Queen Street Gym

No Guts, No Heart, No Glory won the The Scotsman Fringe First Awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2014 so we know this is gonna be a good one! Based on interviews with young female boxers, this play was written by Aisha Zia in collaboration with five young Muslim females. Wednesday 24 February

Winona Wednesday | Reality Bites At The Northbridge Piazza

Winona Wednesday is a thing and it happens on the last Wednesday of every month, huzzah! Take a trip back to the 1990s with Reality Bites (yep this movie was made over 20 years ago, just take a minute and let that sink in) and watch Winona when she was young and innocent, before the whole shoplifting thing (ahem). Head in to Northbridge early and grab a bite to eat before settling down in front of the big screen. Get more info here.
