Laneway Festival 2026 is pulling out the big guns, with none other than Chappell Roan bringing the Pink Pony Club to Perth as she makes her long-awaited Laneway debut. She’s joined by a stacked lineup of international heavyweights and Laneway-only exclusives, with Role Model, PinkPantheress, and cult Swedish rap collaborators Yung Lean & Bladee all set to deliver unmissable sets. Add in Lucy Dacus, indie favourite Alex G, The Dare, and a pile of other iconic performers, and this might just be the live music moment of the summer.

And, hey, you might even get to be Perth's Sally!

THE DETAILS:

When: Sunday 15 February 2026
Where: Arena Joondalup

Part of our beloved Perth Festival, Perth Moves is returning to Forrest Place this season, ready to transform the city centre into a full-blown open air dance party. Presented by the internationally acclaimed chereographers STRUT Dance, expect bold new works, large-scale activations (which you can jump in on of course) and some pretty damn cool dance circles we're bursting to get around. Did we mention it's a completely free, family-friendly event too? How good.

Global alt-pop legend Lorde is heading back down under in 2026 with her Ultrasound World Tour, and thank the lord for that! Unafraid of breaking boundaries and writing lyrics that punch you in the gut, her recent album Virgin was a bit of a cultural reset, with hits like "Man Of The Year" and "Favourite Daughter" showcasing her unique storytelling and bold sonic production. Of course, she'll also be digging into the vault and performing some longtime fan favs, including Supercut and Ribs.

Tickets are still available, but don't wait for that green light, just get in as quick as possible.

Terracotta Warriors Exhibition at the WA Museum Boola Bardip

Image credit: WA Muesum | Instagram

Let’s be real: museums don’t always top the list when we’re planning weekend hangs—but this one hits different. The Terracotta Warriors have landed in Perth, and this once in a lifetime exhibition brings the most iconic symbols of Chinese heritage right in front of you. But it’s more than a history lesson—it's drinks, live music, cultural performances, hands-on art workshops, and next level Cantonese cuisine.

Jade Nights turns this exhibition into your next Friday night hang, with after-hours access, music, cultural performances and drinks. Dive into Oo-long Conversations led by expert guides, to enlighten yourself on Chinese culture, tombs, and immortality with a space to reflect.
If your idea of a good time leans more “taste buds” than “terracotta,” you’re in for a treat:

THE DETAILS:

When: Saturday 28 June 2025 to Sunday 22 February 2026
Where: WA Museum Boola Bardip

Celebrate Food, Family And Italian Tradition At Nonna’s Big Day Out

It doesn’t get much more Italian than trading stories around the dinner table.

In partnership with

Three people sitting at table

Landing at the WA Maritime Museum on Sunday 1 February, Nonna's Big Day Out promises the perfect dose of culture and cuisine for the whole family. Think cooking demonstrations direct from Nonnas, vibrant dance and music performances, and even a movie screening, all culminating in a very Italian afternoon tea including tiramisu and cannoli. Nostalgia’s never tasted better.

Melville’s Summer Music Series Returns

Image Credit: Melville City | Instagram

Outdoor concert season is upon us, and welcoming it in with Melville’s Summer Music Series seems like the obvious choice. The series runs on Saturdays from November through to March, with stages set across different public parks in the City of Melville to showcase a variety of musical talents.

The shows kick off at 5pm and close at 7pm, and you'll get to see the likes of Mike Compton & Laura Boosinger, Bluegrass Parkway, Echo of Aphrodite and plenty more singing the night away while you snack and relax. The best part is it’s totally free and no RSVP needed, just rock up with your picnic blanket and enjoy the tunes.

THE DETAILS:

When: Saturday 8 November 2025 to Saturday 21 March 2026
Where: City of Meville

Take a dive into Perth/Boorloo's Indigenous history with a Cultural Walking Tour of Elizabeth Quay this summer, guided by Walter McGuire and his Go Cultural Aboriginal Tours team. The Noongar people have been living on Perth soil since the Dreamtime, and are the traditional Aboriginal people of Perth. Walter McGuire's tours will walk you through their sacred sites and ancient grounds now embedded in Perth City, connecting the past to the present through storytelling and discovery.

There are select dates within December through to May, and the tours go for about 120 minutes.

When: Tuesday 2 December 2025 to Tuesday 5 May 2026

Titanic Exhibition: The Human Story

After a sold-out run in Brisbane, this acclaimed international exhibition, Titanic: The Human Story, is sailing right over to Perth this December. Unlike previous Titanic museums, this exhibit focuses on the authentic human stories behind the unsinkable ship that carved out such a chunk of our history.

Visitors will spend 90 minutes walking through full-scale recreations of the Titanic's interiors, guided by an audio narrative exploring the personal stories of passangers alongside immersive period music. There will also be handwritten letters, worn-in keepsakes, photographs and rare archival materials to paint the tragic picture. And maybe while you're there you can size up the doors to see if two people could've fit.

Even if you haven't seen Titanic yet (you should probably get on that), this is a beautifully insightful exhibition reminding us that real people are at the core of our historical stories. Tickets are available now from $26 for adults and $22 for kids.

THE DETAILS:

When: 17 December 2025 to June 2026
Where: Northbridge Centre, Perth
