Here are 5 awesome things to do in Perth this week.
Monday 28 November
100 Free Toasties At The Good Shepherd
Yep, you’ve read correctly. 100 FREE toasties. Who doesn’t love that? But it gets even better—they’re from toastie pros Toastface Grillah. What’s the occasion you ask? The guys from The Good Shepherd think the bar is more than just a place for night time shenanigans, so they’ve decided to open their doors during the day to bask in the glorious sunshine. From 11am-2pm they will be grillin’ some darn tasty toasties so head on over and get a cheesy for freesy. First come first served! Get more info here.
Matt & Alex 5 Raves In 5 Days Perth At Amplifier Capitol
As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and oh boy, are we saying goodbye to a damn good thing. Triple J’s dynamic duo, Matt & Alex announced last week that they’ll be finishing up at the end of this year so, in true party style, they’re throwing 5 raves in 5 days around our magnificent country. We’re going to miss hearing the brekkie boys as we shove toast in our mouths while rushing to sit parked in peak hour in transit to work. Get more info here.
PS: We would defs recommend starting to show symptoms of a summer flu now so the sick call tomorrow will be more believable…
Tuesday 29 November
A Day On The Green At The Botanical Gardens
A day on the green is probably the most splendid way to end terrible Tuesdays! Round up your mates to enjoy an evening in beautiful Kings Park with good food, fine wine and seriously great music from The Temper Trap and The Garbage with The Preatures, Tash Sultana and Adalita. Holy smokes! That line up! Get your tickets here.
Wednesday 30 November
Ben Harper And The Innocent Criminals At Pioneer Women's Memorial
One of the beautiful things we love about the warmer season is all the cool outdoorsy events that could easily convert any indoorsy person. Touring for the first time since 2007, and after a string of seriously successful 2015 tours across North America, Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals will embark down under. Fans can expect old school bangers from the band's eclectic catalogue as well as songs from their first new studio album in eight years, 'Call It What It Is', all the while frolicking in the gardens. Get your tickets here.
Thursday 1 December
Decrustacean At The Cottesloe Beach Club
Calling all seafood lovers! The friendly team at the Cottesloe Beach Club are hosting their inaugural Decrustacean Festival! They believe that seafood and summer go together like sunsets and ice cold beverages and we could not agree more. So why not welcome the warmer months by celebrating all things seafood with the beach club’s crab shack, oyster bar, prawn barbeque and canapés paired with free-flowing prosecco, beer and wine. Hell to the yeah! Get your tickets here.
