April is here and just when you think things might slow down, well they don’t. We’ve got another week of epic nights out for you, Perthlings. It will involve a bit of drinking, a bit of eating, some theatre and a dance party to round out the week nicely.
Here are 5 awesome things to do in Perth this week.
Tuesday 12 April
Pisco Masterclass At Public House
You made it through Monday and most of Tuesday so I guess you deserve a Pisco sour, right? Considering Public House are the Pisco heroes of Perth, we couldn’t think of anyone better to teach us all about the stuff. Learn how to make a couple of Pisco cocktails, have some delish matched bites and call it a night. Get tickets here.
Tuesday 12 April & Wednesday 13 April
Chocolate Education, Tasting And Tempering Demo At Sue Lewis Chocolatier
Chocolate education is the best kind of education and the only kind of education we’re interested in right now, to be honest. Sue Lewis, Chocolate Master of Perth, is going to teach you all about the magical bean that we all know and love. And she’s going to let you taste some of the best stuff that money can buy. Be warned, you might never look at the cheap supermarket chocolate the same way again.
Tuesday 12 April—Saturday 16 April
Selkie At The Blue Room Theatre
After all that cocktail drinking and chocolate tasting, it’s time to challenge your usual way of thinking for a night guys. Head to the Blue Room Theatre to catch Tim Epic’s latest creation Selkie. There’s a bit of Gaelic mythology and the exploration of identity, cultural exploitation and domestic oppression to get your brain ticking. Get tickets here.
Thursday 14 April
In Good Company: Beer Pairing Dinner At Petition Kitchen
Yah yah we’ve all mastered wine pairing (well not really, but we kinda, sorta have an idea right?). But what about beer? No. Idea. Get down to Petition Kitchen and let Jesse Blake show you the ropes with a three course share menu #yum. Get tickets here.
No Zu At Mojos
If you’re looking for a fairly upbeat kinda Thursday night, head down to Mojos and get around this 8-piece extravaganza. There’ll be a bit of boogie, dub and salsa so get your dancing shoes on. Get tickets here.
