There's a new side piece on the Swanbourne scene, and she's making a play for your coffee affections. From the team behind Daisies Cottesloe and The Other Side comes the cheekily named Side Piece Deli, a brand new stacked-sandwich-slinging delicatessen from some serious coffee connoisseurs.
The main event here will be the sandwich offerings, and while the menu is set to be short, the sandwiches themselves will be anything but. To round out the menu there'll be a selection of favourites from Daises and The Other Side (I have my fingers crossed that the Daisies conti roll will be making the move), as well as freshly-baked-in-house pastries and of course quality Dukes coffee for your morning brew.
“We wanted to create a spot that’s bold, fun, and exactly the kind of place
you’ll brag about discovering first," said co-owners Sam Kaye and Pia Prior.
In which case you might want to get in early, because we don't anticipate Side Piece staying a well kept secret for long.
Bars & Pubs
With so many bottomless sessions around, how do you pick? At Urban List, we want good drinks and plenty of them (no waiting around for my next pour, thanks), something great to nibble on and a killer atmosphere.
Restaurants
There’s nothing like a long and luxurious lunch to make you feel like you’re living your best life. No other meal has quite the same feel to it; there’s something about lingering through the middle of the day, over a meal that’s usually pretty utilitarian, to give you a sense of time and life slowing down for a bit. While the Perth dining scene boasts a pretty laid-back vibe all round, there are some places more conducive of all-afternoon-lunch-affairs than others. So grab your friends, park up for a bite and wind up accidentally-on-purpose staying all day at one of these best spots for a long lunch in Perth!
Food & Drink
Raise your hand if you’re an indecisive over-orderer with eyes bigger than your stomach! It’s okay, us too. When met with so many mouth-watering food options, it’s way too hard to narrow down your selection and face potential feelings of regret when you see something you *almost* ordered making its way to the table next to you.
