14 Brisbane Christmas Markets You Need To Hit Up This Festive Season

'Tis the season to go Christmas shopping. But mainly, 'tis the season to stuff your face. So what better way to do both than hit up all the Christmas markets Brisbane has to offer in November and December?

From boho luxe trinkets to twilight sessions to even one aimed at our canine companions, here are all the Christmas-themed markets you need to stroll through this December.

QAGOMA Christmas Design Market

The QAGOMA Christmas Design Market is back and bigger than ever, with more than 50 of Brisbane's best local independent artisans. Treat yourself and those you love to a handmade gift from their diverse selection of handmade ceramics, jewellery, homewares, textiles and clothing, and maybe even pop in to GOMA to check out their latest exhibition, Motorcycle, while you're there.

When: 9am–4pm, Saturday 5 December

The Market Folk Christmas Pop-Up Market

The Market Folk are popping up Woolloongabba's South City Square just in time for Christmas, bringing with them a heap of local stalls to shop. Be transported to a European Christmas market inside South City Square’s newly completed Market Hall, with it's beautiful brickwork and industrial windows along an indoor cobblestone road. There'll be food and sweets, plus live music and even a wreath-making class at Florals By Blush.

Albion Market Trail 

The Black Market are taking a break from their regular weekend farmers market to put on something way more fun and festive for a day. Taking over both The Black's rustic, industrial warehouse and Republica Stores just around the corner (hence the market 'trail') will be over 40 stalls of local makers and designers showcasing their stunning creations. Shop for Christmas gifts, grab a coffee and listen to some local music all at the same time.

Gasworks Christmas Markets

Get on your reindeer and trot on over to the Christmas markets in the Gasworks Plaza Gasometer, for this year's festive shopping trip hosted by The Market Folk. Offering everything from fashion and art, to plants and childrens gifts, and everything in between, the market will be up and full of gift ideas for all your folks, so plan your calendar and get shopping.

Coorparoo Christmas Markets

Parade your way through over 40 small independent businesses during your Christmas shopping  trip this year. The many market stalls at Coorparoo's Christmas markets from The Market Folk will be offering ceramics, pots, handmade clothing, skincare, eco products and much more. You will be sure to find something for every friend, family member, pet and even something for yourself, because who said you can’t buy yourself gifts?

St Peter's Wynnum Twilight Christmas Markets

Another market mastering the locally made goods this holiday season is the St Peter's Wynnum Twilight Christmas Markets. Stop by to browse through the wares of Brisbane’s best makers and creators as they sell their Christmassy creations alongside food trucks, live music, workshops, and drinks aplenty.

When: 6pm–9pm, Saturday 12 December

The BrisStyle Twilight Markets

The BrisStyle Handmade Markets are at it again this year, with nothing but 100% handmade goods at their stalls. 80 local designers will be lit up by the solar-powered Christmas tree outside City Hall, with food trucks, gift wrapping stations, live music and even craft stations where you can make your own Christmas creations.

Milton Twilight Markets

The Milton Twilight Markets may be Brisbane’s most iconic Christmas market to date. The Milton Markets will be completely taking over Cribb Street on the last Saturday of November  with sleigh bells a-ringing. On top of the usual suspects such as live entertainment, Christmassy food and Artisan gifts they will also be boasting specialty pop-ups serving up all manner of holiday spirits—see what we did there?

Boho Luxe Market

Prepare to unleash your inner flower child, the hugely popular Boho Luxe Market is heading to Brisbane just in time for the festive season. Think Byron Bay meets Splendour but with a festive vibe, as well as plenty of flower crowns, dreamcatchers, crystals and all of the boho goodness in between. And what proper boho market would be complete without vegan food stalls, flower crown workshops and kombi vans?

Carseldine Twilight Christmas Markets

Yule be sorry if you miss this one. Step into a Christmas fantasy at the Carseldine Markets, where there will be gourmet food, live entertainment, handmade gifts and a whole lot of festive cheer. Round up your family and friends, buckle in for a good time and maybe even tick off some Christmas shopping on the way.

Tanah Merah Christmas Markets

Shop small this Christmas at the Tanah Merah Christmas Markets, where a heap of local businesses will be offering ceramics, handmade clothing, skincare, candles, artwork, accessories, food and more. There will also be a raffle, a renowned opera singer and even Santa himself.

Nundah Christmas Twilight Markets 

Pop-up bars, gourmet eats, fresh Chrissy produce and artisan products—what more could you want in a Christmas market (other than some snow)? Make the most of a balmy Saturday afternoon outdoors at the Nundah Twilight Markets, where over 150 stalls will ready and waiting to fill up your stockings this year.

Redcliffe Twilight Markets 

If you’re one of the 90% of people who forget they have to buy Christmas presents, then rest assured, the Redcliffe Twilight Market has got your back this year. Drop into the markets, lining the ocean for a festive celebration with an entire lane dedicated to crafty presents along with seafood and cheese platters, carol singers and plenty of festive cheer.

Beenleigh Christmas Twilight Markets 

Get those stockings ready to stuff full of gourmet food, handmade goodies, seasonal produce and some good ol' fashioned Christmas cheer at the Beenleigh Christmas Twilight Markets. Here you'll find plenty of artisan stalls, produce and provisions to get your Christmas shopping out of the way, as well as live music, entertainment, workshops and most importantly, plenty to eat and drink.

Kuraby Christmas Twilight Markets 

You'll have a holly jolly time at Kuraby Markets, where boogie-worthy live music, entertainment and workshops will set the mood for an evening of shopping and eating. Try not to only buy presents for yourself with the huge array of gourmet food, gifts and provisions that will be on offer—you know Santa's watching.

Santa Paws Christmas Market

As the name suggests, this is a Christmas market for you and your four-legged friend. Hosted by the Samford Valley Veterinary Hospital, you’ll be able to shop for pet treats and accessories to spoil your furry bestie. Food options for both pooches and their humans will also be available on the day, plus you can both get a photo with Santa Paws himself.
