Shake Things Up With A Martini Masterclass At The Inchcolm

What could set the mood more than a cosy heritage setting, a couple of martinis, and a shared grazing board? If you’re still scratching your head about where to spend Valentine’s, The Inchcolm is offering that tempting trio for $179 per couple, with the deal including a martini mixology masterclass taking you through classics and signature martinis, nibbles and a take-home cocktail and sensory gift to keep the good vibes rolling.

Get Sweet With Darvella Patisserie

In the hopes that you’ll be shared with, you can order one of Darvella’s famous baby cakes with a Valentine’s Day twist; we’re talking a dense chocolate cake, split and filled with strawberry filling and masked with Swiss meringue buttercream, topped with a li’l sweet nothing. Each cake serves 4–6 people (but we reckon you could tackle it in one go… with the right person) and comes in at $39.

Go Glam At The City’s Newcomer Rothwell’s

Get cosy in a banquette under Rothwell’s mega chandeliers, and strap in for something a little fancy! Your booking offers a starter of champagne and caviar, pasta, the Insta-famous beef Wellington to share, and a lemon meringue tart for dessert for $165pp, and your evening offers martinis in the bar, a sip from the Armagnac cart, or maybe a vintage bottle from the cellar.

Lust Over Lune's Cruffin Special

Another incredible seasonal special that we can't wait to queue up for, Lune is offering a pink-hued special for Valentine's weekend only: the cherry blossom cruffin (available in store, or via pre-order). Filled with raspberry jam and whipped cherry blossom ganacahe, dusted with icing sugar and raspberry powder and topped with cherry blossom meringue, we will absolutely take one in lieu of flowers.

Swoon Over River Views At Otto

When the moon hits your eye... sorry, but Otto isn't that kind of Italian restaurant! This mod and minimal stunner is offering a three-course choice menu in the restaurant for $195pp with a glass of champagne on arrival, or you can opt to walk in to the bar for a more casual, a la carte approach. Either way, you'll be treating bae to some of Brisbane's best river views.

Catch Pasta, Wine And Short Films In Bakery Lane

Valley date-night favourite Uh Oh Spaghettio is hosting several nights of early Valentine’s fun, with the pinnacle seeing the courtyard, extending into Bakery Lane, transformed into an outdoor cinema for a screening of Animation Alliance Australia’s Love Animated 6 on the Friday night. Throughout the week they’re also offering $35pp two-course meals, with the option to add a bottle of Moët, Mumm or Veuve Clicquot for a bargain $50 per couple.

Take A Trip To The City Of Love At C’est Bon

Whether you opt for lunch or dinner, you’re guaranteed a delicious little trip to Paris at C’est Bon. Lunch on Sunday will be served on the terrace from midday, with four courses on offer for $165pp, while dinner on Monday will be available in the dining room from 5 pm, serving up four courses, champagne on arrival, sweets to finish, and a single red rose for $120pp.
